IOWA WILD 2016-17 RECORD: 36-31-7-2, 81 POINTS SIXTH IN CENTRAL DIVISION & NINTH IN WESTERN CONFERENCE The Iowa Wild, Wild’s affiliate, finished its 2016-17 campaign setting franchise records in wins, fewest regulation losses, points - a 22- increase from 59 points totaled in 2015-16, goals scored (182), fewest goals allowed (196), home wins (17), home points (39), road wins (19), road points (42), power-play percentage (16.7%) and kill percentage (82.0%). Iowa posted the second-best road win streak in the AHL this season, winning nine straight from Jan. 7-Feb. 4 and ranked fourth in the League with a 2.58 goals against average.

F Pat Cannone led Iowa in assists and points (9-29=38) in 73 games this season and ranked T-2nd in PPG. F ranked second on the Wild with 37 points (18-19=37) in 57 games. Iowa’s IOA/American Specialty Man of the Year led the team in goals and GWG (6) while leading all AHL rookies in GWG (T-4th overall) and ranked T-1st in the League in overtime goals (3). D Mike Reilly finished third on the team with 30 points (5-25=30) in 57 contests, ranking second in assists and fifth in PIM. Eight Minnesota prospects made their pro debuts with Iowa this season: Sam Anas (10/14), (10/18), Justin Kloos (3/31), (3/24), Nick Seeler (10/14), Dmitry Sokolov (4/13), Carson Soucy (4/13) and Tuch (10/14).

G Alex Stalock went 23-17-8 with a 2.28 GAA, a .926 SV% and four shutouts in 50 games in his first season with Iowa. He ranked T-2nd amongst AHL goalies in SV%, fifth in minutes played (2,870), T-7th in shutouts, T-9th in GAA and 11th in wins. G Steve Michalek went 13-14-1 with a 2.63 GAA, a .919 SV% and one shutout in 30 games and ranked T-11th amongst League goalies in SV%.
