    Section B Wednesday, October 17, 2012 Sports The McLeod County Chronicle Burr is All-WCC again; Metcalf, Herout receive HM For the fourth straight year, Glencoe-Silver Lake’s Tori Burr is a member of a 14-girl All-Wright County Conference girls’ cross country team. Burr, now a junior, placed seventh overall last Thursday (Oct, 11) on De- lano’s home course inside the Lake Rebecca Park Reserve. In 2009 when GSL was meet host, she was sixth. She was eighth at Annandale in 2010 and second at Litchfield last year. One might say Tori Burr, the runner, is consistently elite when it comes to the Wright County Conference meet. This year, Burr is the only GSL runner from either varsity team to claim an all-conference (top 14) award. Senior Jalen Metcalf and sophomore Isiah Herout each received honorable mention on the all-league boys’ team, after placing 18th and 23rd, respectively. In the final team standings, GSL’s boys placed sixth at Lake Rebecca Park, while the girls took seventh.
