The Greenawalt family has been opening Lake Rescue Chalet to guests since 2000, offering skiers a cozy place to rest their heads in winter, and the perfect base for exploration in the warmer months. The chalet is just five minutes from the Jackson Gore base of Resort and half an hour from Killington Mountain. It's a two-minute walk to our private dock with boats on Lake Rescue.

Please enjoy the many amenities we offer: a glorious hot tub on the back deck, two gas fireplaces, an Amish-made front porch swing, a fire pit area, and so much more! We have 3/4 an acre for you to explore, and a shed filled with yard games.

We’ve made a number of improvements over the last few years, including kitchen and bathroom upgrades, new flooring and solid wood doors, a new boiler, new paint inside and out, regrading of the lawn, dock improvements, and much more.

We hope your group will have a wonderful stay in comfortable, family-friendly Lake Rescue Chalet!

| P A G E 5 HOT TUB CARE

The Bengal hot tub fits a maximum of 6 people at a time. Hot tub chemicals are in the closet of the upstairs left bedroom. There’s a towel holder attached to the house under the roof to keep towels dry. To its right is a gray circuit box. Sometimes in cold weather, the circuits get overwhelmed trying to keep the water hot. If the water in the hot tub starts to cool, open the door of the circuit box and flip the breaker. Be sure you haven't accidentally turned on "Summer Mode," which will turn the tub off.

After Each Use

Turn on jets and put in 1 1/3 tablespoon of Enhanced Shock (Orange Cap). If water gets cloudy, turn jets on and put in 1 1/3 tablespoons of Chlorine (Blue Cap). If water is still cloudy after one hour, use a test strip to check the pH balance, and apply chemicals as instructed.

When You Leave

Put in 1 1/3 tablespoons of chlorine to keep the water clean for the next group. DO NOT turn down the heat.

For Your Safety

Use the Hot Tub at your own risk. Do not use the hot tub if you have an open wound Don't use the tub if you are or could possibly be pregnant. Limit tub use by children under 12, or turn down the temperature to 100. At the top temperature, 104 degrees, you should not spend more than 15 minutes in the tub. Keep the tub closed when not in use.

If you experience a problem or run out of chemicals, call Clear Choice Pool and Spa Service, 802-345-6116.

| P A G E 6 THE DOCK & BOATS ON LAKE RESCUE

I t’s a two-minute walk to our private dock on Lake Rescue. Just walk to the far end of the yard past the sign that says Lake House Dock. Continue to the road, pass one house on the right. To the left, you'll see a patch of trees and a “Lake House Dock” sign, just past a driveway and a blue house. Walk down the steps to our private dock and swimming platform, with a canoe and two kayaks. A storage bin holds oars, paddles, and life jackets in sizes from baby to XL. Please store all items as you found them when not in use. (We suggest you use the pan and brush to brush out any spiders before using boats.)

USE THE BOATS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Everyone using the boats MUST have a life jacket; it's state law. People over 12 must have them on the boat, and those under 12 must w e a r them or you’ll be subject to a fine!

STORING THE BOATS Store the boats upside-down on top of the right dock. Disassemble paddles and oars and return them to the bin.

Take your trash with you! Please notify Summit Solutions if any boats or accessories are missing.
