A NEW PARTNERSHIP

The Georg Solti Accademia is delighted to announce a partnership with the exciting Mascarade Opera Studio (MOS). In this new collaboration, the Solti Accademia brings its nearly twenty years of expertise and experience to support the launch of MOS. Jonathan Papp, Artistic Director of the GSA, serves on both the faculty and the artistic advisory board of the studio. Through this close relationship, new opportunities will be created for GSA students and alumni to participate in the Mascarade Opera Studio and the New Generation Festival. In it’s inaugural year (2020- 2021), GSA alumna Gabrielė Kupšytė will join the Mascarade Opera Studio. Henry Websdale, a répétiteur studying on this course, also joins MOS this year. The New Generation Festival has already featured several GSA alumni in past seasons including: Anush Hovhannisyan, Jonathon Swinard, Faik Mansuroğlu. This summer, GSA alumna Marvic Monreal appeared at the New Generation Festival as Tisbe in Rossini’s, La Cenerentola.
