SANISOL RC-A ( 50 % )

SANISOL RC-A is a cationic Surface Active Agent, exhibit a strong power of bactericidal and . solution and , formalin, meranic chloride solution, etc. have been employed as or antiseptic. However, these odor and their range of usage are rather limited. On the other hand, cationic bactericides has a far stronger bactericidal powder than the chemicals which mentioned above and have no such deficiencies usually known among the common bactericides mentioned above.

SANISOL RC-A manufactured from coconut oil as the major of vegetable oil source in Asia by careful chemical and biological controls. SANISOL RC-A is a 50 percent solution of Benzalkonium Chloride .

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION

The main chemical composition of SANISOL RC-A is dimethyl benzyl alkyl ammonium Chloride and it can be expressed as following structure :

1. The phenol Coeficient of SANISOL RC-A on Eberthella thyposa

The evaluation of phenol coefficient of SANISOL RC-A on Eberthella thyposa, conducted by the National Institute of Health, resulted as follows showing excellent germicidal power.

2. The Influence of pH to SANISOL RC-A

The germicidal power of Sanisol RC-A is effected by the pH of solution.

As shown in the table (2), the germicidal power may be doubled when pH becomes 11. Accordingly, it is recommendable to add alkali like triethanolamine to SANISOL RC-A solution to obtain optimum effect, provided the addition of alkali is harmless.

3. The Germicidal Power on Comma bacillus

The evaluation of germicidal power of SANISOL RC-A on Comma bacillus, conducted at the Osaka University, resulted as follows, and shows as much germicidal power as against Eberthella typhosa.
