Hong Kong comics artist Li Chi Tak will be given a solo exhibition at the 43rd Festival International de la Bande Dessinée in Angoulême on 28-31 January 2016. France’s international comics festival is the biggest of its kind in Europe. The exhibition will pay tribute to the artist’s career, showing over 80 works dating from the 1980s to the present day. Mr Li will also meet with the public to talk about his work.

To coincide with the Festival, editor Kana will publish a translation of The Beast, drawn by Li Chi Tak to a scenario by Jean Dufaux. Li’s work has been available in French since Spirit was published by Dargaud in 1998. © Li Chi Tak - Jean Dufaux - Kana (Dargaud-Lombard s.a.)
