Rally Panel Report 13/4/15 Prepared for: State Council Prepared by: Matt Martin, Rally Panel Chairman. 2015 Registrations 2015 Registrations as at 13/4. 2015 2014 2013 NSWRC 71 70 34 DRS 36 68 11 DRS4 26 (new series for 2015) ERS 3 11 2 RSS 68 58 6 PRS 27 (new series for 2015) Total 231 207 53 The Rallysrpint series continues to grow, with both new competitors and new events joining the series. After consulting registered competitors, the Panel has added a 7th round on 27/6/15 at WSID in Sydney. The discipline of Rallysprinting is considered strategically important by the Rally Panel, as it is our number one gateway event for new competitors. The State championship is back. The panel has devoted much energy and resources into this area, and the 2015 championship is showing great signs. Bega has returned for 2015, as well as a new event in Glen Innes, which saw 51 entries on 28/3/15. The panel is aware of another landmark state championship event which will most likely return for 2016, and are very excited by that. We look forward to releasing the 2016 calendar later in the year. The DRS in 2015 has been split into 2, which allows for 4WD turbo cars. Whilst numbers in the DRS4 component are up, the participation in the 2WD sections is lower than last year at this stage. Number in Hyundai series are also down, but we are aware of at least 3 crews who are planning on contesting the later rounds. -

The Image of the Philippines As a Tourism Destination in Finland
The Image of The Philippines as a Tourism Destination in Finland Amarie Arellano Bachelor’s Thesis Degree Programme in Tourism Abstract Date 2019 Author(s) Amarie Arellano Degree programme Degree Programme in Tourism Report/thesis title Number of pages The Image of The Philippines as a Tourism Destination in Finland and appendix pages 6 + 2 This research report examines the image of the Philippines as a tourist destination per- ceived by the Finnish residents. The Philippines is a country with great possession of vari- ous beautiful natural resources that create a great impact on tourism, however, the indus- try is weaker in comparison to other destinations with similar possession. The main objec- tive is to gather useful information on the images and assumptions that residents in Finland believe about The Philippines. The interests of Finnish residents are determined as well as their concerns and willingness to travel to the Philippines are recognised. Understanding the importance of the destination image, its useful components, its for- mation and how it is measured are highlighted in the literature review of the report. To clearly understand and analyse the results, several theories and background studies about the Philippines as a destination and Finnish residents’ traveller behaviours are introduced. Quantitative research is the methodology used to systematically investigate the image of The Philippines through the traveler’s perspective. A survey was conducted primarily online through social media and other public forums to collect research data due to the global pandemic. The data collection was conducted at the turn of 2019 and 2020 and re- ceived 93 samples. -

Speedhub 500/14
SPEEDHUB500/14 "Quicker than the surf" France 1994. The atmosphere at the "Tour de France" was exhilarating and working with the teams and mechanics was exciting too. Our Rohloff S-L-T 99 chan has proven a success with its reliability! So at last, a couple of quiet days on theAtlantic coast. Why not take the Moutain bike on the beach?!Crazy idea, yes! Riding exactly where the surf runs out! After just 200m, total stand still! The rear wheel is stuck fast in the wet sand. Changing the gears impossible! Derailleur gears won’t work when you are stuck! The next wave came and both rider and bike received the first salt-water shower. Chain and sprockets are grinding full of fine sand. The next wave came - now nothing works. The waves were rolling in faster than we could change gears. Still, it must feel great to have the waves roll out under the bottom-bracket. This idea didn't let go of me. The lights were now burning bright and late into the night. The construction department in the Rohloff Company was working overtime. Successful gear changes and sprocket combinations were investigated. Mountainbike, downhill, touring and everyday riders were asked along with sports physicians: How many gears do you need and what has a gear hub got to be capable of in order to achieve maximum riding fun? 1997: findally we had our answer and put it to the test! Guess where... The rear wheel is stuck fast in the wet sand. The first wave is coming. Change the gears down while stuck.
