INTRODUCTION

Foreseeing the emerging construction boom in the UAE, we a group of enterprising engineers set up UNICORN ELECTROMECHANICAL as an MEP company to cater for the electrical, HVAC and plumbing services of the construction industry. Since then, the company has set new standards in the field, raising comforts to a sophisticated level and helping customers experience those services at its best.

At UNICORN, we aim to emerge as market leader in Electro-mechanical Building Services

Installations and Contracting Works in the Construction industry by consistently providing high

quality operational systems & services that meet client’s absolute satisfaction and desired

requirements.

ACTIVITIES

UNICORN is capable of satisfying all the electromechanical requirements. Our major focus is on commercial and residential buildings as well as on the industrial requirements. We are in to the Design and Execution of Turnkey MEP solutions including HVAC, Electrical installations and Plumbing works for the Offices, Showrooms, Commercial/residential buildings, warehouses, villas and medium industries. And thus, we are already listed as the approved contractor for many authorities & consultants including ADGM, MASDAR, TECOM, DAFZA, DIFC, JAFZA, Trakhees, DCCA, RAK Free Zone authority, SAIF Zone, DIC, DWC Airport, Clarke Samadhin Associates, MACE Consulting, Halcrow, Tebodin Consulting, GAJ, HME Hillarion Consultants respectively.

HVAC INSTALLATIONS

 Design Supply and Erection of chilled water systems, pumps, chilled water piping and

installations of Chillers, FAHUs, AHUs and FCUs etc.

 Design, Supply and Installation of Ducted Split, Decorative and Packaged AC units.

 Design, Fabrication and Erection of GI & Pre-Insulated Ducts and Aluminum cladding.

 Design and preparation of necessary drawings and Heat load Calculations.

 Arrangement of all the necessary permissions and approvals.

We are committed to our environment and thus, we assure we are providing the perfect design and solutions to our clients. We also undertake design and execution of “green offices” for the

LEED Certification under USGBC and ESTIDAMA.

Apart from the installations, we provide Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) of the Air conditioning systems for the offices and commercial & residential buildings.

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS

 Design and installations of the Electrical power systems, low current systems, structured

cabling for the commercial, industrial and residential buildings.

 Supply and installation of the Electrical power systems including LV panels, SMDBs and DBs

as per the international and local authority regulations.

 Design and Preparation of necessary drawings and Load Schedules.

 Arrangement of all the necessary permissions and approvals including local authorities

(DEWA/SEWA/ADDC etc.).

 Supply and Installations of Structured Cabling works as per the Etisalat/Du Requirements.

FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM INSTALLATIONS

 Supply and installations of sprinkler systems, Fire hose reels, FM200 system etc.  Supply and Installations of the Fire alarm systems including Smoke detectors, Heat detectors and FACPs.  Installations of the fire protection systems as per the Civil Defense Requirements.  Approved with Abu Dhabi Civil Defense and Dubai Civil Defense.

PLUMBING INSTALLATIONS

 Design and installations of the Domestic and Drainage water pipelines.  Installations of the sanitary equipment’s, Water heaters with necessary pipe works for the hot and cold water pipelines.  Design and Preparation of necessary drawings.  Arrangement of all the necessary permissions and approvals from local authorities.

SOLAR POWER PLANT INSTALLATIONS

Civil and Electrical installations

 Excavation, soft sand filling and backfilling crowning.  Solar module internal dressing.  DC cable laying and Auxiliary cable laying & termination.  Communication cable laying and termination.  High Tension cable laying and termination.  Erection and termination for equipment’s like inverter, Transformer & RMU.  Inverter station earthing, foundations for cable tray, string combiner box, weather station & lightning arrester.

ACHIEVEMENTS

 Unicorn won the best contractor award by ADDC in 2014 (Consecutively for 3 years from 2011 – 20014). This is a very prestigious award for any company to receive, we cleared the ADDC inspection in one review and thus were honored with this award in Abu Dhabi.

 Unicorn received The World’s Greatest Brand Awards 2015-2016- UAE, from URS for the industry category – Services Diversified which is reviewed by PricewaterhouseCoopers P.L

 Unicorn’s expertise gave us the opportunity to work in Burj Khalifa, we have executed SINO Public Relation Office for Government of China (149th Floor in Burj Khalifa).

 Unicorn had opportunity to work for the prestigious IMG World’s of Adventure (theme park in Dubai) – we have executed multiple scope of works.

 Unicorn is the first contractor to execute the refurbishment project of UAE, Dubai Chamber of Commerce the LEED Certified project in Dubai. We have the expertise in design and execution of green projects for LEED certifications under USGBC and ESTIDAMA.

 Unicorn delivered the IFF Eurofragrance Laboratory – Dubiotec project in Dubai – This was a fragrance testing laboratory and the main requirement of this project was to vanish the fragrance within seconds so a new fragrance can be tested – Fragrance testing challenges were designed by Unicorn’s expert mechanical team.

 Zero accident policy – No accident history for more than a decade.
