- The Montagues of Boveney, England - WELCOME to the Montague Family Association (MFA)—dedicated to the descendants of the first Montague family in America--the Montague Family from Boveney, England.

Our mission, since 2004, is to facilitate and solicit the exchanging, collecting, sourcing, and dissemination of history and genealogy relating to the Montague of Boveney family as descended from brothers Peter (1603-1659) and Richard (1614-1681), who immigrated to America; and also uncovering their/our medieval origins (pre-1500).

MFA offers all members free genealogical research assistance in tracing their Montague lineage through our records. Our Historian won the 2014 National Genealogical Society Award for Excellence in Genealogy and Family History with his 2-volume, History and Genealogy of Peter Montague of Jamestowne Virginia (1603-2003), Quadricentennial Edition. This, the definitive history and genealogy of Peter, took 14 years to research/compile. Our other services and current activities include:
