Stipanovich scored six-straight points and then, with her team down by one with 26 seconds remaining, found freshman Anna Ross for the Wednesday, January 21 eventual gamewinning three pointer. Stipanovich also recorded two blocks and two Villanova at Penn, 5:30 pm [ILDN] defensive rebounds over the final 4:30 of the game, part of a performance in which she tallied 19 points, 13 rebounds, six blocks, a steal and an assist. Friday, January 23 *Yale at Brown, 7 pm [ILDN] Stipanovich earns her second Player of the Week honor of the season (Nov. 24) and sixth of her career, putting her in a tie for 13th-place on the all-time list. She matched her career-high with 15 points in a 53-45 win at Saint Peter’s, shooting 7-of-14 from the field, and then set a new personal-best with 19 points in Yale’s Ivy League opener, a 66-49 win over Brown, where she shot 8-of-12 from the floor, setting career-highs in field goals, assists (three) and rebounds (six). Simpson earns her first career Ivy League weekly awards and becomes the first Bulldog to receive Rookie of the Week since Nyasha Sarju on Nov. 26, 2012.
