Iron Co MO Death Index Vol 1-CD Version Iron County, Missouri Death Index 1857-2006 Volume One Compiled & Researched By: Marcine E. Lohman Member of Iron County, Missouri Genealogy Society Iron County, Missouri Historical Society INTRODUCTION This book is a compilation of death records for Iron County, Missouri which I’ve been putting together for several years now. I thought it was time to get it in print so people could use it. Since there are still several old newspapers available (through the Missouri State Historical Society in Columbia for me to search) and several old churches still active in the Iron County area, there are still quite a few sources left for me to compile a second volume in the upcoming years. This is why I’ve labeled this book as Volume One. Volume Two will be a continuation of this book and will cover the same dates but have some different sources for data and perhaps include some additional individuals. You may find a person listed multiple times in this book because they are listed in multiple sources. This should work to the researcher’s advantage as I’ve discovered a few mistakes on tombstones and even birth/death certificates. Multiple sources should offer to confirm the data as correct or at least flag a difference for the researcher to search further. Also, the purchaser of this CD is entitled to print one (1) paper copy of this book at their own expense. Libraries are entitled to make copies of this book for each of their branches without requesting permission from me. All others, please ask. I hope you find this information useful. Sincerely, Marcine E. COMPARATIVE PETROGRAPHIC, ·PETROCHEMICAL AND SPECTRO GRAPHIC ANALYSES OF THE PRECAMBRIAN GRANITIC ROCKS OF SOUTHEASTERN MISSOURI BY EVA BOGNAR KISVARSANYI A THESIS submitted to the faculty of the SCHOOL OF MINES AND METALLURGY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI in partial fulfillment of the work required for the Degree of MASTER OF SCIENCE, GEOLOGY MAJOR Rolla, Missouri 1960 -12au&a4AM~ (advisor) £tg~¥Ni ii ABSTRACT Petrographic, petrochemical and spectrographic studies were completed on selected Precambrian granitic rock samples from South eastern Missouri. This investigation contributes to a more detailed knowledge of the Precambrian granitic rocks of this part of the state. Petrographic analysis of forty-four thin sections of granitic rocks from the St. Francois Mountains area revealed six different granite types. These have been named the Fredericktown, Knoblick, Doerun, Graniteville, Klondike and Silvermine granites. These rocks form a large part of a composite batholith.
