With great excitement we announce our expanded participation with series and teams around the globe for this season. Formula Racing The open wheel ranks hold countless legacies. Each year for the past several decades, competitors look to etch their names into the history book. This year will be no different and Eibach will be there every step of the way. With a long-standing history in the Formula 3 series, Eibach continues to be the supplier for many championship-winning teams in this most advanced form of motorsports and for 2015 has been named the official spring sponsor of Formula Lites. Meanwhile in the new F4 series, Team Motopark will utilize Eibach products on their entries as they look to expand even further on a wildly successful 2014 voyage with events across Europe. DTM Eibach customers shared the lion’s share of success in Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) action in 2014, and Eibach teams are set to pounce again in 2015. The 2014 campaign found Audi Sport atop the podium in the Manufacturer Championship along claiming the second and third spots atop the podium in Driver’s Championships. Many vehicles in the these series will be equipped with the Eibach Race Spring System (ERS Springs), which have been tried and true in this most grueling form of racing. The charge will be led Eibach team Eibach partner, M-Sport in WRC and 333 Racing Skoda in CRC. Pirelli World Challenge Team Eibach Driver Michael Lewis has joined EFFORT Racing to pilot the team’s Porsche GT3 R in the GT-A class championship with the Pirelli World Challenge. Eibach will also remain the spring of choice for several GT, GTS and TC championship winning teams, including Black Dog Racing, KIA, RealTime, GTSport Racing and Global Motorsports Group (GMG). World Endurance Championship Competitors in the legendary Le Mans 24 Hour / World Endurance Championship (WEC) ranks will have to face a formidable challenge from Eibach customers. All of the Audi R18 e-tron Quattro entries as well as the cars fielded by Strakka Racing will employ the use of Eibach products in 2015 on the highly competitive circuit. “Audi Sport Customer Racing” will also compete in several long distance races and had a promising start into 2015. At Daytona, two R8 LMS drove amongst the top10. In Bathurst, Australia, Phoenix Racing have won the Pro-Am class and finished second overall. V8 Super Cars In Australia, racers will strive for greatness in the V8 Supercars Championship, and Eibach will be there every step of the way to provide performance-driven products. Red Bull Racing Australia will once again be fighting their way through the field in an effort to capture their fourth consecutive championship using Eibach. Touring Series Eibach is proud to be providing championship-caliber products for the state-of-the-art Citröen Factory entries in the World Touring Car Championship, as well as the 333 Racing VW, FRD Ford and KIA teams in the China Touring Car Championship. Around the globe, Eibach will be propelling racers to greatness as GT customers in multiple divisions chase glory. Just some of the divisions and sanctions where Eibach teams will set the standard, include the Audi Sport TT Cup Series, Opel Astra OPC Cup, Toyota GT86 Cup, HJS TMG CS-R3 Trophy, GT Masters, the Blancpain Endurance Series, and many more. NASCAR In the United States, history is being made this season with the NASCAR sanction. For the first time in the long and storied history of the venerable organization, every single entry in the three top-tier divisions will be equipped with Eibach Springs after NASCAR Superspeedways mandated the use of the products. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, the XFINITY NASCAR Series, and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will all see its competitors implementing the use of Eibach’s cutting-edge technology to guarantee performance, dependability, and safety. Dirt Short Track After winning the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) championship in his first season with Clint Bowyer Racing in 2014, Don O’Neal is locked and loaded for another title run in 2015. The Martinsville, Indiana native is set to tackle the national scene once again in his Eibach-equipped #5 Barry Wright House Car. And while I would argue that big improvements have been made in terms of safety, I also know that there is a long way to go in terms of fully embracing sustainability for racing tracks around the globe. Though circuits have started to change the way in which they approach sustainability, more guidance on what sustainability means and how a circuit can be sustainable are needed. This is why I welcome this new research and the data-driven proposal of the Sustainable Circuits Index™, highlighting indicators from the wider sustainability and sport ecosystem, encouraging best practice and calling attention to the importance of transparent reporting and independent validation. Motorsport has historically been defined by its commitment to innovation and excellence through competition. It’s now critically important for our sport to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability through collaboration. This paper highlights the new metrics for success in this global effort and provides circuits with the tools they need to help win the race for our planet, a race which we can only win together.
