B3.10 Invite letter and Stakeholder Event round 2 locations

Dear Stakeholder

Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Shoreline Management Plan Review (SMP2) Invitation to Attend Next Round of Stakeholder Consultation Events November - December 2009

Thank you for registering with us as a stakeholder on this shoreline management plan review. I am pleased to advise you that, further to the consultation events staged during April and May of this year, you are now invited to attend the next round of these events, which will take place at 9 different venues during November and December.

The purpose of these events will be to provide stakeholders with the following information:

• A brief overview of Shoreline Management Plans • An update on progress with the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly SMP2 • Introduction of proposed preferred policies and feedback

These events are specifically designed to provide information and obtain your views, so that final preferred policies can be shaped and formulated. Following this, the SMP2 will then go out to full public consultation, commencing February/March 2010.

The attached list and calendar of events shows where the nearest event will be held for your area. Whilst each event will aim to deal with matters locally, if you are unable to make the date for your area, you are still most welcome to attend any of the other events and ask questions about your area to the representatives in attendance.

At each of the venues, the format will be to hold a “drop in session” from 4.00 to 7.00 pm, during which formal Presentations on the above topics will be given by representatives between 6.00 to 6.30 pm.

For further information, I would refer you to the Stakeholder section of the Advisory Group’s website www.ciscag.org, where the following documents have been posted as the Review has progressed:

• Stakeholder Engagement Strategy • Programme • Progress Updates • High Level Objectives • Policy Development Zone Boundaries • List/Calendar of Forthcoming Stakeholder Events
