The contest will attract competitors from Germany, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Hungary, Slovakia and the USA, and feature appearances by two mens world champions and one womens world champion.

Central Command for Maritime Emergencies (CCME) The Association of German Maritime Fire Ser- vices (AGF See) is partnering with the German Central Command for Maritime Emergencies (CCME) and the German Navy to run a joint presentation (Stand C50/Hall 1) on firefight- ing and rescue at sea. The central focus is a recreated 14m ship’s hull in a 6m x 9m body of water, where joint rescue crews will be stag- ing demonstration missions and exercises several times a day. Victims will be hauled to safety by simulated helicopter winches, res- cue baskets and boat rescue nets. There will be demonstrations of life raft deployments, sea survival suits, and first aid for victims of accidents at sea. Visitors to the fair will have the chance to get in on the action and win prizes in knot-tying competitions, quiz- zes, etc.

Maritime SAR Service The German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS) will be profiling the bravery of it crews with spectacular, giant-size photos, thrilling video sequences and the first general screening of its new public information film.
