UAV is constituted of airframe, flight control system, data link system, launch and retrieve system, power system, and so on. The technology involved many aspects such as invisibility, flying control, power, data chain, launch and retrieve. The characters of UAV are: (1) flexibility in body, small in size, light in weight; (2) can afford multi-load tasks and take long time and far distance flying; (3) good stealth performance and viability, low cost; (4) high safety factor, good ability of autonomous control. The first UAV was successfully developed in England in 1917. The early UAV was transformed on the basic of the retired aircraft. The early UAV could only fly in the setting route, and could not be manual intervened or autonomic response, and mainly was used in assistant drone of artillery maneuvers. From the 1960s, with the developing of wireless, autonomic control, computers and so on, UAV no longer depended on ground control, and could take multiple tasks flexibly, and be used in the war. From 1990s, with the dramatic development of information technology, satellite communication technology and efficient aerodynamic technology, the property of UAV was constantly promoted, and the function was expanded, and UAV could be used in more and more fields. Now there has been a great mass fervor for UAV all over the world, and 57 countries are exploiting UAV, and the kinds of UAV are more than 1000, among which more than 400 types have come into production. These UAV are mailly used in military field and expanding in civil using. In the research of UAV, America has occupied the commanding height. So far, America has developed hundreds of high, medium, low altitude and large, medium, small sized UAV, which covered the fields of intelligence/surveillance/investigation, electronic countermeasures, communications relay, attack and so on. The developing level, performance index and technology readiness level of UAV in USA are in the front rank《中国学术期刊文摘》赠阅 of the world. The research of UAV in China started from 1950s, and got substantial progress in 1990s. Through the unremitting endeavor, the performance of UAV is improved continually, and the complete system of UAV has been formed, and different types and functions of UAV have come into service. But from the integral level, we have obvious divide from America and Israel in the research of UAV. The problems are: (1) though we have many kinds of UAV, but there are overlapping investment and low-level repeating, and the development of high-end of UAV is still far behind; (2) our engine research is weak. During the special flying condition, there is special demands to the engine; (3) the problem of networked communication. The war has puts forward high demands of high range, high precision, zero mortality, high repeating utilization factor and elusive to the weaponry, and UAV has become to be the absolutely necessary weaponry. With the development of flying platform and loading equipment, UAV is increasingly applied in military and civil field, especially in military field. With the development of the technology, the environment of modernize war is increasingly complicated, and it can’t fulfill a task by one single UAV. Multiple UAVs

Kannemeyeriiformes from Shanxi, China LIU Jun (Key Laboratory of Vertebrate Evolution and Human Origins of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences Beijing 100044 [email protected]) Abstract Recently, some new tetrapod fossils were collected along the Yellow River in Shanxi Province. From the Member I of the Tongchuan Formation at Baidaoyu in Linxian County, at least one species of Parakannemeyeria, and one new species of Sinokannemeyeria, S. baidaoyuensis, are identifi ed. The new species is characterized by prefrontal anterior extension level to posterior margin of postnarial excavation. From the Ermaying Formation in Liulin County, a third kannemeyeriid genus is identified for the Sinokannemeyeria-Shansisuchus Assemblage. The new findings increase the content and time extension of the Sinokannemeyeria-Shansisuchus Assemblage. Key words Shanxi, Middle Triassic, Ermaying Formation, Tongchuan Formation, Sinokannemeyeria, Parakannemeyeria 1 Introduction In North China, terrestrial Triassic deposits are widely distributed, but the tetrapod fossils have only been discovered from the Heshanggou, Ermaying and Tongchuan formations (Li et al., 2008). The Ermaying Formation is the richest source of Triassic tetrapods of China, with the lower part having yielded the Shaanbeikannemeyeria-Fugusuchus assemblage and the upper part having yielded the Sinokannemeyeria-Shansisuchus assemblage (or Shansidon assemblage) (Li and Cheng, 1995; Sun, 1980). In contrast, the Tongchuan Formation was long considered barren of fossil tetrapods, with the sole exception of the archosauriform Yonghesuchus from Member II of the formation (Liu et al., 2001; Wu et al., 2001).

First, the basic dynamic characteristics of this system are analyzed theoretically. Second, dynamical properties of the system are investigated by phase portraits, Poincaré sections, Lyapunov exponent spectrum and bifurcation diagram. In addition, an analog circuit of the system is designed and simulated by Multisim, a circuit simulation software. The experimental results show that the circuit simulation results are consistent with the numerical simulation results. Therefore, the existence of chaotic attractor in the system is verified from the physical level. Keywords: Novel 4D chaotic system; Dynamic characteristics; Simulation analysis; Analog circuit design. Through chaos theory, we can not only further 1. Introduction investigate the nonlinear characteristics and their Since 1963, when Lorenz discovered the butterfly generation mechanism in these fields, but also provide a effect [1], more and more scholars have studied chaos. Archosauriformes from Linxian, Shanxi, China LIU Jun1,2 Corwin SULLIVAN1* (1 Key Laboratory of Vertebrate Evolution and Human Origins of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences Beijing 100044 * Corresponding author: [email protected]) (2 University of Chinese Academy of Sciences Beijing 100039 [email protected]) Abstract The tetrapod assemblage from the Middle Triassic upper part of the Ermaying Formation of northern China has been known for two decades as the Sinokannemeyeria- Shansisuchus Assemblage because of the characteristic presence of the dicynodont therapsid Sinokannemeyeria and the erythrosuchid archosauriform Shansisuchus. Recently a Sinokannemeyeria species has been described from Member I of the Tongchuan Formation, which overlies the Ermaying, near Baidaoyu, Linxian, Shanxi Province. Here we document archosauriform specimens from the Baidaoyu site, including a partial Shansisuchus skeleton and some additional bones from probable suchian archosaurs, which constitute the first archosauriform material known from Member I of the Tongchuan. The most intriguing archosauriform specimens are a large ilium probably attributable to an unusual poposauroid, and a small, strangely shaped element that appears to represent a highly autapomorphic suchian calcaneum. Given the presence of both Sinokannemeyeria and Shansisuchus at Baidaoyu, the stratigraphic range of the Sinokannemeyeria-Shansisuchus Assemblage can be considered to extend upward into the Tongchuan Formation, although with possible changes in faunal composition. The occurrence of a poposauroid ilium at the Baidaoyu locality adds to the evidence that poposauroids diversified extensively during the Middle Triassic.

  • SHRIMP U-Pb Zircon Dating of the Triassic Ermaying and Tongchuan Formations in Shanxi, China and Its Stratigraphic Implications
-168 第51卷 第2期 古 脊 椎 动 物 学 报 pp. 162 2013年4月 VERTEBRATA PALASIATICA figs. 1-3 SHRIMP U-Pb zircon dating of the Triassic Ermaying and Tongchuan formations in Shanxi, China and its stratigraphic implications LIU Jun LI Lu LI Xing-Wen (Key Laboratory of Vertebrate Evolution and Human Origin of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences Beijing 100044 [email protected]) Abstract Sensitive High Resolution Ion Microprobe (SHRIMP) U-Pb dating was carried out using zircons from tuffs in the Ermaying and Tongchuan formations of Shanxi, China. The results show weighted mean ages of 245.9±3.2 Ma for a sample from Member II of the Ermaying Formation, 243.1±3.9 Ma for a sample from Member I of the Tongchuan Formation, and 238.6±2.6 Ma and 234.6±6.5 Ma for two samples from the upper part of Member II of the Tongchuan Formation. These ages indicate that the lower part of the Ermaying Formation, which contains the Shaanbeikannemeyeria assemblage, is mostly likely Lower Triassic in age, whereas, the Tongchuan Formation is likely late Anisian to Ladinian, Middle Triassic. Key words Triassic, tuff, zircon dating 1 Introduction Correlating sedimentary strata from different facies, especially between the terrestrial and marine realms, poses a difficult challenge to geologists. Biochronology, which depends on the shared presence of particular fossils in the different strata to be correlated, is a common and useful method for approaching this problem. In some cases, however, no fossil that is useful for correlation exists in both sets of strata.
