Former vocalist from LIVE, , and Matthew Curry to Play Before Daughtry at the 2015 Naperville Jaycees Last Fling

Naperville, IL – Ed Kowalczyk, former lead singer of LIVE, and blues phenom Matthew Curry will play at the Thomas Coffee Main Stage before Grammy Award winner Daughtry at the Naperville Jaycees 2015 Last Fling on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015.

Ed Kowalczyk, and former lead singer of LIVE, opened a new chapter in his already illustrious career in 2009 with the launch of his solo career. With over 20 million sold worldwide, he has built an impressive resume in LIVE that includes eight full-length albums that have reached gold and platinum status in nine countries and nine Top 10 hit songs, which include the crossover smash “Grace” from his debut solo and classics such as “,” “,” “,” “The Dolphin’s Cry” and “Heaven.” Ed is very excited to be sharing this new look at some of the biggest hits of his career along with his new music in his dynamic full-band and acoustic performances.

Hailing from Normal, Ill., 19- year-old Curry has been capturing the attention of established acts and fans across the country as he’s toured with Steve Miller Band and now Doobie Brothers and Peter Frampton. Leave This Town, Daughtry's second album, debuted at number one in 2009, has been certified Platinum and includes the single “No Surprise.” In 2011, debuted inside the Top Ten and has been certified Gold. In 2013, Daughtry released Baptized with the lead single “Waiting For Superman.”

The Naperville Jaycees is a not-for-profit service organization with more than 100 young people dedicated to providing Naperville area residents with the opportunity to better themselves and to grow personally and professionally while giving through community service and fundraising efforts.
