Of these, not one white person has been zapped for the killing of a black. Yeah, you say, but that's because it's mostly blacks out there that are the ones doing each other in. They're the ones that keeps the chair in business. It's simple justice. Right? Wrong. Of the 144, 86% of their victims were white , although about half of all murder victims in the U. S. are black. The bottom line? Blacks are four times more likely to get the chair for the killing of a white than if they just stuck to killing their "own kind." These stats are a window to the darker, but more accurate side of society. We profess "justice", but the numbers just don't add up. It's easy draw up a bunch of noble laws that lay claim to liberty and equality for all. They serve as a pleasant and convenient mask for the ugly realities that exist in our society. But our true prejudices always have a way of crawling out in the end. Our laws are our salvation and our excuse from the ugliness that periodically invades our white-bred world.
