The 65th Annual Meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM.

David Snedeker, NVDA Executive Director welcomed all present and turned the meeting over to NVDA President Fred Saar.

Minutes A motion by Sen. Bobby Starr, seconded by Stephen Amos, to accept the minutes of September 24, 2014 Annual Meeting as mailed, carried unanimously.

Appointment of ballot clerks President Saar appointed Conrad Doyon and Shannon Bedor as clerks to count the election ballots.

Approval of Town Plans A motion by William Davies, seconded by Conrad Doyon to approve the BrowningtonTown Plan, carried unanimously.

A motion by Paul Monette, seconded by Steve Amos to approve the Concord Town Plan, carried unanimously.

President Saar recessed the meeting at 6:05 PM.

Public Hearing President Saar opened the Public Hearing to confirm the planning efforts of Barnet, Brighton, Brownington, Burke, Canaan, Charleston, Concord, Coventry, Craftsbury, Danville, Derby, Glover, Greensboro, Guildhall, Hardwick, Holland, Jay, Kirby, Lyndon, Morgan, Newark, Newport City, Newport Town, Norton, Peacham, Ryegate, St. Johnsbury, Stannard, Sutton, Troy, Unified Towns & Gores, Westfield, Westmore and Wheelock.

A motion by Grant Spates, seconded by Conrad Doyon to confirm the planning efforts of Barnet, Brighton, Brownington, Burke, Canaan, Charleston, Concord, Coventry, Craftsbury, Danville, Derby, Glover, Greensboro, Guildhall, Hardwick, Holland, Jay, Kirby, Lyndon, Morgan, Newark, Newport City, Newport Town, Norton, Peacham, Ryegate, St. Johnsbury, Stannard, Sutton, Troy, Unified Towns & Gores, Westfield, Westmore and Wheelock, carried unanimously.

Hearing closed and President Saar reconvened the board meeting at 6:20 PM.

Election Results Shannon Bedor announced the results of the election of officers as follows:

President Fred Saar, Waterford Vice President, Caledonia County Mark Whitworth, Newark Vice President, Essex County Joel Cope, Brighton Vice President, Orleans County John Morley, At-Large Secretary/Treasurer Tom Robinson, At-Large

A motion for ratification of the election results by Conrad Doyon, seconded by Sen. Bobby Starr, carried unanimously.

David Snedeker recognized dignitaries and then introduced guest speaker Ted Brady, USDA Rural Development State Director for Vermont & New Hampshire Mr. Brady gave a slide show presentation on Rural America and USDA investment. He asked those present to get involved with the NEK Collaborative and challenged them to come up with big project ideas.

A motion by Conrad Doyon, seconded by Sen. Bobby Starr to adjourn the meeting, carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
