Barcelona and Sport Magazine have come together to create an official F.C. Barcelona Campus. Aston has also joined forces to accommodate all foreign participants. This will be the tenth edition. All previous editions have been very successful, both in number of attendants as in organization. This Campus has always achieved its aim of giving 800 kids loads of enjoyment practicing their favourite sport. All places were sold out a month prior to its start. Both children and parents have been satisfied with the organization and most of them show us their willingness to repeat the experience. We are pleased to announce that in the 2015 edition of the F.C.     UN DOS TRES….BARCA !!!! I AM – Brihadeesh Sivakumar of 7 C, DPSIS I ENJOY – Playing and watching FOOTBALL MY FAVOURITES – FOOTBALL CLUB - FC BARCELONA FOOTBALL TEAM - SPAIN FOOTBALLER - LIONEL MESSI I am being trained in Football at the FCBEscola Singapore, the official football school of FC Barcelona in Singapore since September 2013. The Event - FCBEscola III Torneig Internacional which was held in Barcelona, Spain from April 14th to April 17th, 2014 780 kids from the 12 FCBEscola schools worldwide participated in the tournament. Overall, there were 66 teams with kids belonging to the age range of 8 to 14 years This was the Third Edition of the yearly tournament and Singapore was making its debut along with the USA. Venue – The training pitches of the Mini Estadi located across the glorious CAMP NOU, the home stadium of FC Barcelona in Barcelona. We played matches againsr Egypt, Dubai, Barcelona, Catalonia, Tenerife & Japan. The teams we played against had the dual advantages of having been trained in FCB style of play for a longer time and also of having participated in the previous editions of the tournament. So they offered us stiff competition and the games were very intense. Although we played to our potential and tried our best, we lacked the cohesion and understanding that comes from experience. We had a few good shots and our keepers effected many good saves but the tournament did not produce favourable results to us on our debut. But as they say, it is more about participating and learning rather than winning that counts- we had a lot to take back from this experience like: Hardwork, dedication and teamwork is the key to competing in a tournament of this nature.
