After losing to Southwest Missouri State West Virginia rebounded to defeat Georgia Tech and James Madison to finish the tournament with a 2-1 record. West Virginia, now 4-1, got 17 points from Kate Bulger and 15 from Yolana Paige in registering its highest scoring output of the season. WVU shot a blistering 56.1 percent from the floor and held a large, 37-16 rebounding edge on the Dukes. Four of West Virginia’s five starters shot better than 50 percent from the field led by Sowho’s eight of 13. The Mountaineers also canned nine of 19 three-point field goal attempts for 47.4 percent. James Madison, which dropped to 1-3, hit 25 of 52 field goal attempts for 46.7 percent including seven of 15 from three-point distance. Lesley Dickinson led the Dukes with 23 points.
