The Swarm had lost five straight overtime games since then. Minnesota went 0-4 in 2010 and was 0-1 in 2011 prior to its victory against the Stealth. WASHINGTON KILLER - After recording a franchise-high seven goals against Washington two weeks ago (1/14), F Ryan Benesch responded with the game-winning goal in overtime this time around against the Stealth. The native of Kitchener, Ontario had a team-high five points (3g, 2a). THE LEAD- F Aaron Wilson (2g, 3a) scored two goals in the fourth quarter to give Minnesota a 10-8 lead. Washinton went on to tie the game up at 10-10, sending the game into overtime. PATTERSON- G Nick Patterson (2a) improved his 2011 record to 3-1 after stopping 40 of 50 shots in the win. CRAWFORD- F Callum Crawford tallied five points (2g, 3a) for the Swarm. After recording two goals in the second quarter, he tied up the game 4-4 for Minnesota. SEASON-HIGH- F Zack Greer (2g, 2a) notched a season-high four points for Minnesota. He started off the scoring for the Swarm at the 8:37 mark in the first quarter. ALSO NOTABLE: ATOP THE WEST - Minnesota (3-1) is in first place in the West Division. CLOSE CALLS - The Swarm is 2-1 this season in games decided by one-goal. The Swarm lost to Rochester 11-10 in OT (1/8) and have defeated Edmonton 9-8 (1/22) and Washington 11-10 in OT (1/29). OUTSHOT - Minnesota holds a 3-0 record when outshot by its opponents. LEAGUE BEST - Minnesota ranks first in the NLL in goals allowed (37) RECORD WATCH - F Sean Pollock, who has recorded 308 points (122g, 186a) with the Swarm, needs just two points to tie former F Ryan Ward’s mark of 310 points for most points scored as a member of the Swarm.
