Arugam Bay, known locally as "Arugam Kudah", is a bay situated on the Indian Ocean in the dry zone of Sri Lanka's southeast coast, and a historic settlement of the ancient Batticaloa Territory.

Kudumbigala Monastery lies eleven miles from Panama and seventeen miles away from the Kumana Village. Kudumbigala monastic complex was built in 246 BC, during the time of King Devanampiyatissa. It was first established as a refuge for the Buddhist monks who wanted to get away from the busy Cities.

Batticaloa is a major city in the Eastern Province, Sri Lanka, and its former capital. It is the administrative capital of the Batticaloa District. The city is the seat of the Eastern University of Sri Lanka and is a major commercial city.

Trincomalee also known as Gokanna is the administrative headquarters of the Trincomalee District and major resort port city of Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. Located on the east coast of the island overlooking the Trincomalee Harbour. The recorded history of Trincomalee spans more than two and a half thousand years, beginning with civilian settlement associated with the in the pre-modern era. One of the oldest cities in Asia, it has served as a major maritime seaport in the international trading history of the island with South East Asia. Trincomalee has some of the most picturesque and scenic beaches found in Sri Lanka, relatively un spoilt and clean. The area is famous for bathing and swimming, owing to the relative shallowness of the sea, allowing one to walk out over a hundred meters into the sea without the water reaching the chest. Whale watching is a common pastime in

the seas off Trincomalee, and successful sightings are on the rise with the increase of tourism in the area.

Take a tour around the city and observer the serenity of the most loved beaches, the historic and cultural sites and catch a glimpse of the wildlife along picturesque bays. During your two hour expedition you will visit the Hot springs, Commonwealth War Cemetery, Harbor Mouth, Fish Market, Fort Fredrick, Koneswaram Temple, Lovers Leap and Swami Rock.

We take a drive around the city, visiting its museum and impressive Parliament House, also designed by Geoffrey Bawa. Colombo is fascinating with a cozy mixture of the past and present and is the commercial center of the country. Visit Sea Street – The Goldsmith’s quarter in Pettah, The Bazaar Area, A Hindu temple, The Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1794, the historical Devatagaha Mosque & the Gangarama Temple.

Also visit the Old Dutch Hospital, which has been impressively restored and now holds eateries, bars, boutique stores and spas. Constructed all of four centuries ago, the building is a resounding example of colonial Dutch architecture with high ceilings, thick walls, large wide windows and terracotta tiled floors. In the afternoon, see some of Sri Lanka’s fine shopping at the Paradise Road, Odel, Barefoot and etc.
