In Memorium e are very sad to learn of the death of Philip Scott on 16 March, following a long illness. Philip and his wife Morag are Wwell known to many at Monteton; it has been good to see them both at church on several occasions during the past few months. Our thoughts and prayers are with Morag and the family. Philip’s funeral took place on Thursday 20 March at the new Crematorium in Bergerac. Our Local Annual Review Meeting took place on Sunday 23 March, following the service of Holy Communion celebrated by Revd Liz Morris, who also chaired our meeting. Doris Hogarth stood down as one of our Wardens; we were very sorry to lose Doris who has, with Norma, led us so well and has worked so tirelessly for the Monteton congregation during what has been a difficult year. As yet, we have not found anyone to take her place, but have assured Norma that we will all rally round to help in the interim. Our warmest thanks go to Doris, who was presented with a red rose bush on behalf of the congregation. The three new members are John and Lynn Ralph together with Jeff Bottger. Chris Scott was elected Local Warden replacing Gill Sweetman.
