By Liz Pike, CCRW President CONTENTS My motto for this primary election cycle is simple: “Inslee is President’s Message…….….….1 non-essential!” On August 4th, Washington residents have an Bowerman Report ……..…..…..3 opportunity to permanently retire “Wrong-Way Jay” by eliminating him in the primary. All we have to do is circle the wagons around the 2nd VP Report…………………..4 best two Republican candidates running for Governor. As you know, Treasurer’s Report………………5 the top two vote getters in the primary will advance to the general. Membership Report ……….…..5 Let’s work to ensure Inslee isn’t one of them! As of last week, 81,000 unemployed Washington residents were still waiting for their first unemployment check. Inslee has made CCRW Early Endorsements……9 Washington State the laughing stock of the nation. He deserves to be Member Business Directory..….9 tossed out of office! CCRW is doing its part by hosting an educational forum featuring all seven Republicans running for Governor on July 9th. CONTINUED FROM PAGE 1 our 2020 Impact Award winner. CCRW Treasurer Nicole Wubben presents all the details on page 5. Winning Strategies Campaign School was a huge success last month. I’m thrilled to report our campaign school sold out for the first time this year! Again, Republicans have all the enthusiasm in this election cycle! A full agenda was presented to a jam-packed room of inspired candidates, future candidates and campaign team leaders. I want to thank CCRW Treasurer Nicole Wubben for skillfully managing our registration table along with Second Vice President Liz Cline and CCRW member Diana Hogg for their help on the day of the event. Also, a big shout out to CCRW Associate Member Scott Hogg who presented a chapter on how to elevate your campaign using social media. Scott’s presentation was incredible. Here’s a sample of one of the many comments we received after the campaign school: “Thank you Liz for graciously opening your home, hosting, and for sharing your wealth of knowledge and experience from your time on the campaign trail! What a treasure trove of good advice and reference materials for current and future constitutional conservative candidates. Thank you for the excellent “digital social media” insights by presenter Scott Hogg. Thank you for your service and your deep love for the greatest nation! You are truly our local “Paulette Revere” to use a term Mark Levin frequently uses.” - - Jon Anderson, PCO 460, LD 49 This is the season to become activated for Republican candidates. Now is not the time to sit on the sidelines. Someone once told me, “politics is not a spectator sport.” They were right. Find the candidate that you absolutely love and do everything you can to help them win big on August 4th and on November 3rd. Just remember, there’s no perfect candidate otherwise Jesus would be on the ballot. Candidates need our help. They need our financial support. They need our letters to the editor. Talk to your family, your friends and your neighbors and tell them who you are voting for in this election cycle. Our Republican candidates have stepped up to be our modern day patriots, fighting on the front lines to protect freedom and liberty that our founding mothers and fathers created in 1776. There may not be a second chance! Democrats have lost their minds. They have allowed a fringe element of anarchist thugs and hard core socialists to take over their political party. This vocal minority is shouting to “defund our law enforcement agencies.” They kneel silently while historical monuments are being destroyed by roving mobs. This is no longer the party of John F. Kennedy. 2020 is our opportunity to bring conservative Democrats and Independents into our camp. Normal thinking people who happen to be Democrats are looking for a new political home. This is our opportunity to education them about the GOP: Growth, Opportunity and Prosperity for all! Let’s welcome them and win this fall! The candidate with the most enthusiasm always wins! I see enthusiasm everywhere for President Donald J. Trump. I see enthusiasm for down ticket Republicans! Let’s keep it going! Spread the word! Please take a moment to send a note of gratitude to our courageous Republican County Council Chair Eileen Quiring for her unwavering commitment to our community. She is standing up to the bullies to proudly support our law enforcement men and women in uniform. Bravo Chair Eileen Quiring! Your fellow CCRW members are with you 100%! Lastly, thank you for the trust you have placed in our entire board! Karen Bowerman, Liz Cline, Anna Miller and Nicole Wubben put in countless hours every week to manage and grow our vital organization. We are almost at our goal of 100 voting members and it’s only July 1st. Tell your friends about CCRW! Encourage them to join us online at ClarkCountyRepublicanWomen.org. It’s an honor and privilege to serve you, and I look forward to the next time we can all be together again! Pray for this nation. Pray for healing and pray for President Trump!

Yours in service, Liz Pike President, CCRW 2020

Treasurer’s Report By Nicole Wubben, CCRW Treasurer

Hello Republican women and men! I’m honored to provide the official results of our 2020 Impact Award winner. Through an important electronic vote of CCRW members, you have selected Options 360 as our designated charity. As you know, our membership annually selects one non-profit group that aligns well with Clark County Republican Women. Then we offer fundraising opportunities throughout the year for the chosen entity. We will be accepting donations from members now through the end of the year for Options 360. CCRW will match the first $500 raised. Look for the silver elephant at all our upcoming events. I’ve listed more information about Options 360 below. I hope to see you on July 9th at our combined Republican Gubernatorial Forum and dinner at Shangri-La Farm. Options 360 is pro-life based organization which offers pregnancy testing, limited ultrasound, education and unconditional support. The goal is to save the lives of unborn babies. Options 360 does not provide abortions, pre-natal care, infertility evaluation and treatment, referrals, nor do they sell or distribute birth control. It is a 501c3 with an annual budget of $860,000. Options 360 is in the process of streamlining overhead and would use CCRW’s contribution to help defray the costs of moving expenses to their new combined location in the Uptown Village area of Vancouver where the needs are greatest. Web: options360.org

Look for the CCRW Silver Elephant at upcoming events! We are currently asking members and guests to consider a donation to Options 360, a pro-life based organization that has been selected as our designated charity for 2020!
