K.Shalini - 5.117Ha. and M/s. Murugan Granites – 2.650 Ha. , within 500 meters. The project proponent submitted the cluster EMP. The proposed project falls under Item No. 1(a) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006- (i). Mining of minerals (<50 ha of mining lease area in respect of non-coal mine lease). Gangulappa Colour Granite quarry – 2,97Ha., within 500 meters. The project proponent submitted the cluster EMP. The proposed project falls under Item No. 1(a) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006- (i). Mining of minerals (<50 ha of mining lease area in respect of non-coal mine lease). The present proposal comes under category ‘B2’ project. The Committee recommended for issue of Environmental clearance to this proposed Colour Granite project for the production quantities – 19,002 m3/annum duly stipulating a condition that the project proponent shall maintain the setback distance 7.5 meters buffer zone all around the mine lease area for greenbelt development and other conditions are to be fulfilled.

114 .04 9.340 Ha. Quartzite Mine of Sri. Paila Gouri Sankara Rao at Sy.No: 1, B2 Guruvinaidupeta Village, Pachipenta Mandal, District, Andhra Pradesh . Recommendations of the SEAC on 06.04.2018. The project proponent and their consultant M/s. Vison Labs have attended the meeting and presented their case. The Committee noted that this is a new mine and the In-principle letter was issued vide notice dated 30.01.2018 by the Director of Mines &Geology, Ibrahimpatnam , for mining lease -20 years. The mining plan was approved on14.02.2018. The Asst. Director of Mines & Geology, Vizianagaram vide Letter dated. 12.02.2018 stated that there are no existing leases in the surroundings of this proposed mine lease, within 500 meters. The proposed project falls under Item No. 1(a) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006- (i). Mining of minerals (<50 ha of mining lease area in respect of non-coal mine lease). The present proposal comes under category ‘B2’ project. The Committee recommended for issue of Environmental clearance to this proposed Quartzite Mining project for the production quantities : Quartzite - 1,15,815 TPA, duly stipulating a condition that the project proponent shall maintain the setback distance 7.5 meters buffer zone all around the mine lease area for greenbelt development and other conditions are to be fulfilled.

Recommendations of the SEAC on 06.04.2018. The representative of Project Proponent and their consultant M/s. Mantec Consultants Pvt. Ltd., have attended the meeting and presented the proposed TOR for the proposed Augmentation/Conversion of Pumping/pigging facilities. The committee noted that the depot storage capacity will proposes to enhance from 2,16,874 KL to 2,75,365 KL and also a new pipeline ( Vijayawada – Dharmapuri Pipeline) has been proposed from existing Kondapalli Terminal to the proposed Dharampuri Terminal with proposed throughout capacity of 4.24 MMTPA (Phase-I) and 5.85 MMTPA (Phase-II). The Committee noted that the proposed project falls under Item No. 6(b) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006- Isolated storage & handling of hazardous chemicals. The Committee recommended for issue the Standard Terms of Reference (TOR) with public hearing to this proposed additional storage capacity – 58,491 KL and for the pumping facitlity to proposed Vijayawada Dharmapuri Pipe line project with additional TOR : the industry shall submit the certificate of compliance of EC of existing Kondapalli Teminal. The population densities at different radii of 5 kms and other establishments is also to be prepared.

The committee noted that this a proposal for the proposed Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) - 2.5 MLD to cater the small and micro units( yarn/dyeing and printing ) located in and around Chiral, Janderpet & Epuru villages, Chirala Mandal, Prakasam District The Committee noted that the proposed project falls under Item No. 7(h) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006- Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs). The Committee recommended for issue of Standard Terms of Reference (TOR) with Public Hearing for the proposed CETP -2.5 MLD (Phase – I – 1.25 MLD , Phase – II – 1.25 MLD) by M/s. M/s Sri Venkateswara Yarn & Cloth Dyers Association. Additional TOR: Contingency plans in case of maintenance shutdowns. Stream flow details are to be furnished.

114 .14 Proposed Residential cum Commercial building “Sangamam” By B2 M/s. Apartments and Villas Pvt. Ltd., at Sy.No. 14/2C2 & 15/1, Tummala Palem Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, Krishna District Andhra Pradesh- Expansion. Recommendations of the SEAC on 06.04.2018. The representative of the project proponent and their consultant M/s.Sri Sai Manasa Nature Tech Pvt Ltd., have attended the meeting and presented their case. The Committee noted that they have obtained EC on 12.10.2017 for the proposed Residential cum Commercial building in Sy.Nos.14/2C2 & 15/1, site area : 12128.28 sq.m & built up area: 49424.83 sq.m and project cost : Rs.57 Crores. The project proponent has not yet started the construction activity. Now they proposes to enhance the site area, built up area for the proposed Residential cum Commercial building in Sy.Nos.14/2C2 & 15/1 & 15/2 site area : 18734.45 sq.m & built up area: 75169.85 sq.m and project cost : Rs.72 Crores. The Committee noted that the proposed project falls under Item 8(a) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006- Construction projects ; as the proposed project site covering an area is < 50 ha and built up area is <1,50,000 sq. m. The Committee recommended for issue of Environmental Clearance for expansion to this Proposed construction project Residential cum commercial building complex in Sy.Nos.14/2C2 & 15/1 & 15/2 with site area : 18734.45 sq.m & built up area: 75169.85 sq.m and project cost : Rs.72 Crores (after expansion),by stipulating the standard conditions and other conditions: the Project Proponent shall implement the solid waste management as per the Solid Waste Management Rule, 2016, applicable for construction projects; The parking area in compliance with the NBC/ MoEF/ local Government regulations as applicable, whichever is higher; The Project Proponent shall develop the avenue plantation along the approach road leading to the proposed project site

Recommendations of the SEAC on 06.04.2018. The representative of the project proponent and their Consultant M/s. Ramky Enviro Services Private Limited have attended the meeting and presented their case- Bulk Drug Unit -Expansion of Production capacity with proposed TOR and requested for exemption of public hearing. The Committee noted that earlier M/s. Divi's Laboratories Limited (Unit - 2), obtained the Environmental Clearance for modernization of Bulk Drug Unit at MoEF&CC, New Delhi vide EC Order No. F.No.J-11011/316/2016-IA-II(I), dated 1st August 2017.The present proposal is for expansion of production capacity of Bulk drug Unit. [existing capacity as per EC order for bulk drug products -87 Nos. and R&D products and after expansion bulk drug products to 89 Nos. and R&D products]. The Chippada and Annavaram villages are notified as industrial areas i.e., IDA- Chippada for Chippada and Annavaram villages in Visakhapatnam District. The Committee noted that the proposed project falls under Item No. 5(f) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006- Synthetic organic chemicals industry (dyes & dye Intermediates; bulk and the exemption of public consultation , as provided under Para 7(i) III.Stage (3)(i)(b) of EIA Notification, 2006. The Committee recommended for issue the Standard Terms of Reference (TOR) with exemption of public hearing to the expansion of bulk drug production capacity from the existing bulk drug products: 87 Nos. and R&D products – 6319.5 Tons per annum to 89 Nos. and R&D products – 10739.5 Tons per annum. Data of accidents are to be furnished.

114.17 Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant of M/s. Shree Arya Lakshmi Steel Private B1 Limited, at Sy. No. 782 of Tavasikonda Village, Bethamcherla Mandal, (TOR) District, Andhra Pradesh.

Recommendations of the SEAC on 06.04.2018. The representative of the project proponent and their Consultant M/s. Pioneer Enviro Labs & Consultants Pvt. Ltd., have attended the meeting and presented their case. The Committee noted that they proposed an Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant. The Committee noted that the proposed project falls under Item No. 2(b) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006- Mineral Beneficiation. The Committee recommended for issue the Standard Terms of Reference (TOR) with public hearing to the Iron Ore beneficiation Plant of capacity - 4,58,790 TPA. They requested for exemption from public consultancy, as already operating unit and the same is recommended. Permissions for usage of ground water are to be furnished.

The committee noted that M/s. Jaishree Granites Pvt. Ltd., obtained the Environmental Clearance (EC) on 09.01.2013 for Quartz mining project ( 14.5 Ha.), CFE on 26.04.2013 & CFO on 03.08.2017. Now M/s. Jaishree Granites Pvt. Ltd applied for Quartz mine ( 6.71 Ha.) by extending the existing mine lease area and applied EC for expansion. The project proponent has not submitted the EC Order compliance report of the existing lease (14.5 Ha.). The committee recommended that the project proponent shall submit the certificate of compliance of the EC order issued to the existing mine (14.5 Ha.) and the cluster EMP duly including the all the mine leases in the cluster, for further appraisal.

Lr.dated 01.11.2006. The surrounding silica sand mine leases are M/s.TSR Minerals( 10.931 Ha.) , M/s.S.K.Heena Hameed ( 5.526 Ha.) and M/s.A.Venugopal Reddy ( 7.749 Ha.). The representative of the project proponent have attended the meeting. The Committee noted that the in principle letter was issued on 19.12.2017 by the Director of Mines & Geology, Ibrahimpatnam for mining lease -20 years. The mining plan was approved on 01.03.2018 for 5years. The Asst. Director of Mines & Geology, Tadipatri vide Letter dated. 03.02.2018 stated that there are two other quarry leases ( 16.90 Ha. & 4.048 Ha. ) in the surroundings of this proposed mine lease, within 500 meters. Total extent cluster is less than 25 Ha. The project proponent submitted the cluster EMP. The proposed project falls under Item No. 1(a) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006- (i). Mining of minerals (<50 ha of mining lease area in respect of non-coal mine lease). The present proposal comes under category ‘B2’ project. The Committee recommended for issue of Environmental Clearance to this proposed Dolomite mining project for the production quantities : Dolomite -1,04,856TPA,duly stipulating a condition that the project proponent shall maintain the setback distance 7.5 meters buffer zone all around the mine lease area for greenbelt development and other conditions are to be fulfilled. 114.37 18.00 Ha. Colour Granite Mine of M/s Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Granites, Sy.No.3 (Old Sy. No.1) of Vuralova Hill, V.No.55 (V), V. Madugula (M), B2 Vishakapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh.

Recommendations of the SEAC on 07.04.2018. The Committee noted that this is a new mine and the DMG, Hyderabad vide letter, dated 27.07.2016., issued in-principle for this mine lease. The Asst. Director Mines & Geology, Visakhapatnam vide Letter, dated: 21.11.2016 stated that the mine is in the cluster, there are other Mines within 500 meters: M/s. Sai Venkateswara Rao-4.685 Ha–EC issued on 04.04.2015 and M/s. A.Rama Chandra Rao 4.522 Ha. EC issued on 04.04.2015 and this present proposal M/s.Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Granites- 18.0 Ha. Total extent of cluster excluding EC issued is 18.0 Ha (27.207 Ha. -9.207 Ha.). The present proposal comes under category ‘B2’ project. The Committee noted that this proposal was earlier appraised in the SEAC meetings held on 20.12.2016 & 29.06.2017. In the SEAC sub-committee recommendations, the project proponent was asked to change the location of waste dump and the route of the haul road. These changes are to be incorporated in the Mining Plan and the modified Mining Plan is to be get approved by the competent authority. The PP submitted the revised EMP & modified mining plan changing only ‘the route of the haul road’ and location of ‘Mineral storage’ without changing the location of ‘waste dump’. Also not submitted the approved ‘modified Mining Plan’. The Committee noted that the Project Proponent, on 19.02.2018, submitted the ‘modified mining plan’ approved by the Dy. Director of Mines & Geology Dept, Visakhapatnam on 29.01.2018., duly changing the location of ‘waste dump’ in the proposed mine lease area and changes as committed by the proponent for the route of haul road for approaching it

Expansion of M/s. Dinakara Life Sciences Pvt Ltd. (Formerly known as B1 Khem Krazy Labs Pvt. Ltd.) at Plot No: 80 to 85, Industrial Park (EC) Jaggaiahpet, Krishna District Andhra Pradesh. Recommendations of the SEAC on 07.04.2018. The representative of the project proponent and their Consultant M/s. Rightsource Industrial Solutions Pvt. Ltd., have attended the meeting and presented their case. The committee noted that the TOR was issued on 14.08.2017 and final EIA report submitted on 14.03.2018 with TOR & additional compliance reports , for the proposed expansion of Bulk Drugs Intermediates unit. This unit is located in the notified industrial area i.e., IDA, Jaggaiahpet (V)& (M), Krishna District. The proposed project falls under Item 5(f) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006- Synthetic organic chemicals industry ( dyes & dye intermediates & bulk drug and intermediates) and the exemption of public consultation, as provided for under Para 7(i) III. Stage (3)(i)(b) of EIA Notification, 2006. The Committee after detailed discussions recommended for issue the Environmental Clearance (EC) to the proposed expansion of Bulk Drugs & Bulk drug Intermediates from 2,030 kg/month to 20,000 kg/month, by stipulating the standard conditions and other condition that industry shall install appropriate pollution control system to achieve Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD). 114.39 Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility (BWTF) of M/s Ravi Enviro Care at B1 Survey No. 394-1, 394-2, Pedanandipadu Village & Mandal, Guntur (TOR) District, Andhra Pradesh. Recommendations of the SEAC on 08.04.2018. The representative of the project proponent and their Consultant M/s S.S. Waste Management Ltd., have attended the meeting and the presented their proposal for the proposed Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility ( CBWTF) at Pedanandipadu Village of cover Health Care Establishment (HCEs) of . The proposed project falls under Item No. 7(da) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006 - Bio-Medical Waste Treatment facilities. The Committee further noted that as per MoEF&CC Notification G.S.R.343(E), dated.28.03.2016 (New Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016), Rule-17(2) stated as follows: Site for Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment and disposal facility (CBWTF) – “The selection of site for settling up of such facility shall be made in consultation with the prescribed authority other stakholderes and in accordance with guidelines published by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change or Central Pollution Control Board.” Also, as per CPCB revised guidelines for Common Bio-medical Waste Treatment Facilities, December, 2016. “A CBWTF located within the respective State/UT shall be allowed to cater healthcare

units situated at a radial distance of 75 km. However, in a coverage area where 10,000 beds are not available within a radial distance of 75 km, existing CBWTF in the locality (located within the re4spective State/UT) may be allowed to cater the healthcare units situated upto 150 KM radius w.r.to its location provided the bio- medical waste generated is collected, treated and disposed of within 48 hours as stipulated under the BMWM Rules. In case, number of beds is exceeding > 10,000 beds in a locality (i.e. coverage area of the CBWTF under reference) and the existing treatment capacity is not adequate, in such a case, a new CBWTF may be allowed in such a locality in compliance to various provisions notified under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 to cater services only to such additional bed strength of the HCFs located.” The Committee after detailed discussions, recommended that the project proponent M/s Ravi Enviro Care shall obtain the In-Principle letter from the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board for the proposed Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility at Survey No 30, Kurnoothala Village proposed to cover Health Care Establishments (HCEs) of Guntur District duly following the Bio-medical Waste Managemnt Rules,2016 and the Central Pollution Control Board Revised guidelines - 21st December, 2016 for this proposed common bio-medical waste treatment facility (CBWTF), for further appraisal. 114.40 Storage of Bulk Liquid Cargo by M/s. Mahathi ARC Storage Terminal Pvt. B1 Ltd at Suryaraopeta (V), Kakinada, East Godavari (Dist), Andhra Pradesh. (TOR)

Recommendations of the SEAC on 08.04.2018. The representative of the project proponent and their Consultant M/s. SV Enviro Labs & Consultants, have attended the meeting and presented the proposed TOR for the proposed Storage Terminal. The Committee noted this proposal is an Isolated sotage of Bulk Liquid Storage –Class A& B Chemicals and it is located in Kakinada Port area. Andhra Pradesh Port Department allotted the land for lease period 30 years.The existing pipeline of M/s. Kakinnada Seaport Ltd., will be utilized for transportation of liquid chemicals. The proposed project falls under Item 6(b) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006 – Isolated storage and handling of Hazardous Chemicals. and the exemption of public consultation, as provided for under Para 7(i) III. Stage (3)(i)(b) of EIA Notification, 2006. The Committee recommended for issue the Standard Terms of Reference (TOR) with exemption of public hearing, as it is in the notified area to this proposed Bulk Liquid Storage of Class A & B Chemicals: Class A – 9,000 KL & Class B – 15,000 KL. Total Storage Capacity – 24,000 KL. Additional TOR: to provide information on other storage facilities including Kakinada port area, with duly mapped to a scale.

The crushing plant for the production of M-Sand will be establish outside the mine lease area.

The committee after detailed discussion recommended that the project proponent to be informed to submit the revised Form- I for the Gravel Quarry Mine only, as per the approved mining plan, for further appraisal. 114.43 17.688 Ha. The in principle letter was issued vide notice dated 17-08-2017 by the Asst. Director of Mines &Geology, Palamaner, for mining lease -5 years. The mining plan was approved on 12.09.2017 for 5years. As per the Asst. Director of Mines & Geology, Palamaner, that there is a mine of Sri. P.R. Subramaniam (1.0 Ha.) within 500 m from this proposed new mine (6.0 Ha.). The Kaudinya Wildlife Sanctuary at a distance about 2.5 m distance. As per the EIA Notification, 2006, the General Condition is exempted for project or activity of mining of minor minerals of Category ‘B2’ (up to 25 ha of mining lease area). This proposal was earlier appraised in the SEAC meeting held on 21.01.2018 and the committee recommended for issue of EC stipulating a condition that (i). the EMP of the surrounding mine (1.0 Ha.) to be included in the EMP of the present proposed mine of M/s. Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Stone Crushers. The project proponent submitted the cluster EMP on 30.03.2018. Earlier this proposal was examined in DEIAA, and they transferred this proposal to SEIAA, A.P. as there are 18 mines ( three leases are more than 5.0 Ha and four leases are less than 5.0 Ha. The project proponent submitted EC application through online on DIA/AP/MIN/9754/2017 and requested for issue of EC. The Committee noted that this is a new mine. The Director of Mines & Geology, Ibrahimpatnam has issued In-principle letter on 23.08.2017.The mining plan was approved on 29.09.2017. The Asst. Director of Mines & Geology, Ongole vide letter dt. 17.03.2018 stated that there are as there are 18 mines within 500 meters. However, the project proponent has not submitted the cluster EMP. The Committee recommended the issue of EC subject to the confirmation of status of theland along with the land documents after uploading in the format. 114.49 4.391 Ha Barytes Mine of Sri Venkata Ravi Kumar Reddy located in Sy. B2 No. 846/1,Cumbum(V), Cumbum(M), Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh.

A condition may be incorporated that the local authorities may have proper surveillance around this proposed mine lease area. The SEIAA in its meeting held on 20.03.2018 requested the SEAC to examine this proposal, considering the sensitivity of the issue, where there is any requirement of Public Hearing in this Case. The Committee after detailed discussions, recommended to reiterate the earlier recommendations for issue of EC to this proposed Silica sand mining project for the production quantities - Silica sand – 56,175TPA and the public hearing is not recommended nor necessary as the issue is not related to public grievance.

The Committee noted that the proposed project falls under Item 6(b) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006 –Isolated storage and handling of Hazardous Chemicals. The Committee recommended for issue of Environmental clearance for the new Petroleum storage facility of Class –A Chemicals -28,190 KL and – Class –B Chemicals -45,910 KL. duly stipulating the conditions that the M/s.IOCL shall provide (i). to develop greenbelt 10m wide green belt around the periphery of Plant away off the storage facilities (ii) to conduct the Vulnerability Analysis regularly. The Committee after detailed discussions recommended for issue the Environmental Clearance to the above proposed project: new petroleum products isolated storage facility – Class –A Chemicals -28,190 KL and – Class –B Chemicals -45,910 KL., by stipulating the standard conditions.

The Department of Mines & Geology, Visakhapatnam vide letter submitted on 16.03.2018, stated that there are two mine leases i.e. Sri. Jatothu Mark Raju -7.990 Ha. and Sri. J Mark Raju -1.70 Ha. within 500 meters from this proposed mine – 8.150 Ha. The total extent of cluster of mines is less than 25 Ha. The project proponent submitted the cluster EMP. The proposed project falls under Item No. 1(a) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006- (i). Mining of minerals (<50 ha of mining lease area in respect of non-coal mine lease). The present proposal comes under category ‘B2’ project. The Committee recommended for issue of Environmental clearance to this proposed Colour Granite mining project for the production quantities Colour Granite Mine – 35,616 m3/annum, duly stipulating a condition that the project proponent shall maintain the setback distance 7.5 meters buffer zone all around the mine lease area for greenbelt development and other conditions are to be fulfilled. The project proponent shall allocated sufficient funds for implementation of CSR activities (Providing the Reverse Osmosis (RO) and plantation in the nearby villages).

114.53 Construction Project of M/s Hema Abodes Private Limited at Sy.No. 3/4, B2 Division No:39, Zone-IV, Kapparada (V), Visakhapatnam District.

Recommendations of the SEAC on 08.04.2018. The project proponent has not attended the meeting. However this proposal was earlier appraised in the the SEAC in its meeting held on 23.02.2018. The Committee observed the following: The representative of the project proponent and their consultant M/s. Sri Sai Manasa Nature Tech Pvt Ltd., have attended the meeting and presented the case. The committee recommended deferring this case as they have not submitted the EIA report in complete format. The committee examined the office memoranda issued by the MoEF, the committee noted that the mining proposal of M/s.S.L.V.Mines & Minerals was issued with TOR on 14.08.2015 with validity period of two years. The project proponent has to conduct the public hearing within two years; however the public hearing was conducted on 08.11.2017 for after lapse of TOR validity period. The committee recommended that the project proponent shall apply for the TOR afresh for the Quartz mining project and the process shall be started de novo.

114.60 Issues related to EIA Notification 2006 - violation cases in Mining projects in Andhra Pradesh under Category ‘B’ projects.

The SEAC AP after detailed discussions and deliberations, the Committee recommended the following: A Sub-Committee may be formed with members 1. Prof K.Kameswara Rao, Convener, 2. Sri V.Vedakumar 3. Prof P.J.Rao 4. Sri G.Balasubrahmanyam  to suggest the guidelines for remediation measures including details dealing with violation cases for implementation of various Notifications and Office Memorandums issued by the MoEF&CC, Govt., on violations of EIA Notification 2006.  to frame the guideline on the information of environmental impact due to mining activity already taken up to be done by the committee, and the quantity of mining done which is to be obtained from the Director of Mines & Geology, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh on violation cases by the Project Proponents.  to suggest the Terms of References (TOR) for Remediation Plan and Natural and Community Resource Augmentation Plan.  to suggest guidelines for fixing the Bank Guarantee.  to examine the representations received from the various industrial associations and accredited consultants.  to examine procedures followed by other State SEIAAs, Hon’ble Supreme Court & Hon’ble High Courts judgements on violation cases.  to suggest procedures on processing of violation cases of mine leases ( extent of area less than or equal to 5 Ha.), which were dealt at DEIAAs.

Recommendations of the SEAC on 08.04.2018. The representative of the project proponent has attended the meeting and requested for EC order amendment. The Committee noted that earlier Environmental Clearance was issued to M/s. IOCL on 01.09.2017 for augmentation of POL storage facility and in the EC order, the general condition was stipulated that the funds earmarked for environmental protection measures as “Rs. 40.0 Crores”. M/s. IOCL has requested for amendment as “Rs.16.0 Lakhs” as mentioned in their revised EIA report.

The proposed project falls under Item No. 1(a) of the schedule of the EIA Notification 2006- (i). Mining of minerals (<50 ha of mining lease area in respect of non-coal mine lease). The committee observed that MoEF,GoI, New Delhi issued the Environmental and CRZ Clearance for development of Krishnapatnam Port in Phase II in Krishnapatanm based on their application No.KP/MoEF/PH-II/113, dt.06.05.2009 & 13.05.2009 and details /information submitted by M/s.KPCL vide letter KP/MoEF/PH-II/174, dt.17.08.2009 as mentioned in their EC order dated 13.11.2009, after appraisal and processing at MoEF, New Delhi. The Committee opined that M/s. KPCL may approach MoEF&CC, New Delhi for the clarification on applicability of EC Order dt.13.11.2009 for handling of Hazardous Chemicals in the non-CRZ areas in the Krishnapatnam Port area.

Condolence Message : On the first day of 114th meeting of SEAC, at the start of the meeting, the sad demise of Prof.T.Shivaji Rao, a renowned environmentalist, was mourned one minute silence was observed as a mark of respect and tributes to the departed soul of Prof Shivaji Rao. It was unanimously resolved to communicate to the bereaved family members of Late Prof T.Shivaji Rao, the heartfelt condolences of the AP SEAC.
