He won promotion in his first season, and finished second in the Second Division in his second season, losing in the play-offs. Stopper has consistently been one of Harrogate’s top performers in the last three seasons, winning the Supporters Club Player of the Year in the last two years.

The 30-year-old spent time with Notts County and Walsall as a youngster, but moved to the USA to play college soccer at Duke University where he also achieved a Business, Marketing and Management degree. He was picked by Chicago Fire in the 2013 MLS supplemental draft, but decided to move back to England and spent a season with Nuneaton Borough before signing for Tamworth.

Belshaw spent three seasons with The Lambs, making over 100 appearances until joining Town when they turned professional in 2017.

One To Watch

Jack Muldoon’s goals have been crucial for Harrogate so far this season, with the striker notching 10 in the league so far, nearly half of their total goals scored.

In fact Muldoon has been top scorer at Town for the last two seasons in the National League, and it well on his way to making that a hat-trick.

After spending his youth career at Scunthorpe United, the 31-year-old played around the non-league circuit for the likes of Alfreton Town, Stocksbridge Park Steels and Worksop Town, from where he was signed by Rochdale. After a year at Spotland he joined Lincoln City, winning promotion from the National League before switching to AFC Fylde for a season in 2017-18.
