Ex Lot 2355 2355 Donald Campbell archive including 1956 two-page letter on his personal letterhead regarding the writer's ingenious idea for a new method of attachment for automobile road wheels; two postcards of 'Bluebird K7' (one signed on front, other signed on reverse); plus large signed photograph of 'Bluebird K7' with inset portrait.

Donald Campbell (British; 1921-1967) set eight absolute world speed records on water and land in the 1950s & 1960s. He remains the only person to set both land and water speed records in the same year (1964). He died during a water speed record attempt at Coniston Water in England in Bluebird K7.
