Page 1 of 2 Specificity Goat anti Human TBL1X antibody recognizes F-box-like/WD repeat-containing protein TBL1X, also known as SMAP55, transducin beta-like protein 1X or transducin-beta-like protein 1, X-linked. TBLX1 is a 577 amino acid ~63 kDa nuclear protein involved in the recruitment of the ubiquitin/19S proteasome complex to nuclear receptor-regulated transcription units (UniProt : O60907).
Mutations of the human TBL1X gene may be associated with the presentation of central hypothyroidism and loss of hearing (Heinen et al. 2016, Yan et al. 2005) and is a candidate gene for autism spectrum disorder in males (Chung et al. 2011).
