Red Wine Fresh & Fruity Poulsard Sustainable, Vegan-Friendly Jura is that narrow valley in the remote hills Dry between Burgundy and Switzerland, which Light Bodied millions of years ago was covered by an Ocean 750ml and today still bares many of the fossils from 13.00% alc./vol that time.

It is that amazing terroir where Poulsard grows, one of the most ancient grapes of the region. Its oblong berries are extremely juicy and delicate and the skins are very thin and release very few tannins.

This wine is light-bodied. It's fruity and softly tannic. Poulsard drinks like pure grape juice; but fermented. On the nose you get powerful aromas of blackcurrant and strawberry with some sweet hay, mushrooms and oak rounding it out. Without a doubt, a fresh, enjoyable wine for all seasons!

About the Winery

Domaine Baud Père et Fils The estate history dates back to 1742, but it wasn't until 1950 when René Baud, the 7th generation, rebuilt the vineyard which had suffered from the phylloxera crisis and two World Wars.

Starting with only 4 hectares, the vineyard progressively expanded to 20 hectares with the help of successive generations. Now, managed by siblings Clémentine and Bastien, the 9th generation, the estate continues to flourish and grow, with a strong commitment to sustainable viticulture and preserving the traditions and style that makes the wines of the Jura so unique and incredible.
