From picture books to graphic novels to books on how to maximize your social networking skills, the library’s collections are broad and eclectic. If the library does not have the information you want in-house, the librarians are happy to help you track it down.

What are you interested in these days? Your library is into it too!

The library works hard to develop relationships with other community groups to assist them in achieving their mandates whether it is in the arts, business, childcare, or education. Our programming efforts are diverse and reflect the interests of our patrons and the community at large. This year over 3,000 people will take part in programs initiated or assisted by Dauphin Public Library. Not all our programs happen inside our doors— sometimes we head out and share the library’s inspirational spirit in local schools, daycares, seniors’ centres, and in the streets of our city.
