THE PENINSULA TOKYO WELCOMES NEW HOTEL MANAGER
Mr. Mark Choon joins The Peninsula Tokyo as Hotel Manager, his latest appointment in a distinguished hotel career.
Mr. Choon began his career with The Peninsula Hotels as Night Manager at The Peninsula Chicago during the hotel’s pre-opening period in 2001. Since then, he was promoted several times within the Front Office and Rooms Divisions, culminating in his appointment as the hotel's Resident Manager in 2008. In 2010, Mr. Choon was promoted to Hotel Manager of The Peninsula Bangkok.
A Korean-American, Mr. Choon was educated in the United States and holds a Certificate in the Essentials of Hospitality Management from Cornell University.
Mr. Choon speaks fluent Korean in addition to his native English and is married with a son. His interests include traveling, cooking and mountain biking.
