American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) In Partnership with The Community Synagogue and Temple Beth Israel Presents AN EVENING WITH DAVIDHOROVITZ BEHIND THE HEADLINES: Israel, Her Neighbors and the Presidential Election MONDAY, MAY 16, 8:00 p.m. at The Community Synagogue

David Horovitz is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of . He was previously the Editor-in-Chief of The Post, Israel’s English-language daily, before stepping down in July 2011 after almost seven years, and editor and publisher of the award-winning news- magazine The Jerusalem Report.

In his writing and lectures, Horovitz often seeks to promote intra-Jewish tolerance and to urge the Israeli leadership to devote more attention to the struggle for Israeli legitimacy on “the second battlefield” – in the media, the legal arena and diplomatic forums.

Program and Dessert Reception: RSVP to Allison 516-883-3144 ext. 328 or by email [email protected]
