David Petett, Principal Tim Davis, Athletic Diretor Katie Wilkerson, Asst AD BLAKE MILBY HEAD COACH Despite being a familiar face to Eagle Athletics, the 2018 baseball season will mark the first with Blake Milby acting as the new Head Coach of Eagle Baseball. Milby is a 2008 graduate of CHS where he played baseball, football, and . On the diamond, Milby had a decorated career starting at an early age as he was apart of three state championship teams (‘99 Little League, ‘03 Babe Ruth, and ‘06 American Legion). He was also a member of both the 2006 and 2008 20th District Championship teams at Campbellsville High School. Milby was part of six All “A” Regional Championship teams in ‘03, ‘04, ‘05, ‘06, ‘07, and ‘08; making two Final Four appearances in 2006 and 2007. He was selected to the Kentucky East-West All Star team in both 2007 and 2008 where he represented the West. As a senior, Milby was also awarded the prestigious, Seymour Shaw Award for Eagle Baseball. Following the conclusion of the 2008 season, Milby signed to play varsity baseball at Lindsey Wilson College. Milby returned to Campbellsville and graduated from Campbellsville University with a Bachelor's Degree in 5-12 Social Studies Education. Upon graduation Milby accepted a job teaching social studies at his alma mater where he also became an assistant football and baseball coach. Most recently, Milby earned his Master’s Degree in Teacher Leadership from Campbellsville University in the spring of 2017. Milby’s experience as a baseball coach began in 2010 when he worked as a volunteer assistant under Kirby Smith. Milby continued his role as an assistant from 2010-2017. In that time he helped the Eagles capture three 20th District Titles (2010, 2011, 2012), All “A” 5th Region Championship and Sectional Championship in 2016. From 2011-2013 Milby served as the head coach for Camp- bellsville American Legion Post 82 baseball team. His teams captured District Championships in 2012 and 2013 and secured the program’s second state championship and made a semifinal appearance in the Southeast Regional Tournament in Asheboro, NC in 2013. Following the 2017 season, Milby was asked by the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association to coach the West squad in the KY East-West All-Star Game. In 2014, Coach Milby married Campbellsville native, MeLeigha Pollock. MeLeigha currently works as a Kroger Pharmacist in Campbellsville and surrounding counties. The Milby’s wel- comed the birth of their first child, Fletcher, in August 2017. Coach Milby is excited for this new stage in his coaching career and looks forward to helping young men realize their dreams just as many coaches did for him!

ZACH LEWIS ASSISTANT BASEBALL COACH

Coach Lewis is starting his 12th season as an assistant coach for the Eagle Baseball Program. His duties have included being junior varsity and varsity assistant. Lewis graduated from LaRue County High School in 2002, where he pitched and played first base. Zach then attended Campbellsville University where he went on to pitch for the Tigers. He graduated with a degree in elementary education in 2006. Zach is married to Savannah Knopp Lewis. Savannah is employed by the Lake Cumberland District Health Department.

LYNN KEARNEY ASSISTANT BASEBALL COACH Coach Lynn Kearney has been involved with coaching for 46 years with several sports and sev- eral different levels. He has coached numerous school baseball and teams including coaching championship teams at Campbellsville Middle School. Coach Kearney is the owner/ operator of the Twins Baseball Academy and he also has been inducted into the Campbellsville Youth Baseball Hall of Fame. Coach Kearney has been involved in CYB for 46 years and been involved in baseball at every level of player development. Coach Kearney retired from teaching this year with 32 years in the classroom. He is a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church and also the assistant HUDDLE coach for CHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Coach Kearny is married to Lisa, who is a teacher for Campbellsville Independent Schools. They have 3 children, Brett, Brooke and Ryan who is a junior on the CHS Baseball Team. He has served as an assistant softball coach for three year and also served as Head CMS Boys Basketball coach. Coach Jones gradu- ated from Taylor County High School in 2004, where he played base- ball, football, and basketball before attending St. Catharine College for two years on a baseball scholarship, and then completed his bachelor’s from Campbellsville university while pitching for the Tigers. Coach Jones is entering his 9th season in the Campbellsville Independent School District, and is married to Hannah Jones a 3rd grade teach- er at Campbellsville Elementary. They have two sons, Tate and Grady.

MATTHEW SCHMUCK ASSISTANT SOFTBALL COACH Coach Schmuck is entering his second season as Assistant Softball Coach. Schmuck is a 2009 gradu- ate of Campbellsville HIgh School. Schmuck played Soccer, Football, and Baseball for the Eagles during his career, and also served as the Pep Club President in 2009. He was a member of the 2007 Eagle Football 6th District Championship team, 2008 Eagle Baseball 20th District Championship team, and 2009 Eagle Baseball 20th District Championship team. After high school, Schmuck at- tended Campbellsville University - where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Commu- nication with an emphasis in Sports Journalism. Before getting into the coaching ranks, Schmuck worked as Sports Editor at The Gold Standard in Fort Knox, Ky. Schmuck now serves as the Assistant Soccer Coach for CHS, Assistant Softball Coach for CHS, and is also the Voice of Eagle Athletics - serving as the Public Address Announcer for home sporting event

Zach begins his first season as an assistant coach for the Lady Eagle Softball Program. Zach is a Camp- bellsville High School graduate where is was a 3 sport athlete playing football, basketball and baseball. STEVE DOSS HEAD BOYS TRACK COACH Coach Doss is a graduate of and Campbellsville University. He is entering his 14th season, having begun with . Shortly after being hired to teach at the former Newton Alternative School, Coach Doss was hired to be an as- sistant football coach. After 5 years as an assistant football coach and a transfer to Campbellsville Middle School to begin working as a collaborative teacher, he took over as the head coach for the middle school football program. After 2 years in that position, he turned over the responsibilities and was once again hired as assistant coach for the varsity program under new head coach, Jay Cobb. During the 2010-2011 swim season, Doss was given opportunity to become the head coach for the Campbellsville University Lady Tiger Swim Team. However due to possible expansion of the university program for 2011-2012 season, he informed them he would no longer be able to coach for them and maintain coaching for the high school programs. Beginning in 2011 he became co-head coach for the track team, coaching the distance runners and beginning fall of 2011, became head coach of the cross country team. His wife Dee is also part of the CISD family, teaching at the high school in the subjects of Biology and Chemistry and just recently has taken over as the high schools College and Career Readiness Counselor. She has also been active in coaching herself having been an assistant for girls’ softball.

Coach Doss’ kids are very active in athletics for CISD. Daughter, Kathryn was a swimmer and played golf and softball as well as cheered for the high school. She graduated in 2016 and attends Northern Kentucky University majoring in nursing and plans to walk on the Women’s Golf Team for the 2017-2018 season. His son, Alex is busy with golf and swimming. Alex won the 2016 Class A Golf Championship and finished 16th overall at the KHSAA State Golf Championship. He plans to pursue golf in college after graduation.

KATIE WILKERSON HEAD GIRLS TRACK COACH Coach Wilkerson begins her 12th year as the Eagles Head Girls Track Coach and 31st overall with the athletic program at CHS. Katie is a 1980 graduate of Campbellsville High School where she played basketball and ran track. Katie went on to attend Campbellsville University, earning an education degree and also assisting the Lady Tiger Basketball Program as a manager and trainer. Coach Wilkerson received her Rank II degree from Western Kentucky University. Coach Wilkerson has also served as the CMS Head Girls Basketball Coach for 14 years, Asst. Coach for the CHS Lady Eagle Basketball Program for 17 years and also served as the CHS Lady Eagle Basketball Head Coach for 4 years. Katie is currently the Athletic Director for the middle school and also serves as the assistant athletic director at the high school, a position she has held for the last 10 years. 2018 CAMPBELLSVILLE TRACK

JEFF RICHARDSON HEAD COACH Jeff Richardson, CHS Head Fishing Coach, is starting the school’s third season leading the fishing team. The KHSAA started fishing as a sport activity a few years ago and sponsors a state tournament each spring. Coach Richardson is no stranger to the Campbellsville School System as he is currently the school district’s DPP and Food Director. Jeff has also served as a teacher and also was on the CHS football coaching staff for several years. Jeff is married to Dr. Marlene Richardson, a local dentist in Campbellsville. They have one son, Bryce, who is a member of this year’s fishing team.

Harris is a 2010 graduate of Campbellsville High School. Harris played Soccer,Cross Country, Track, and Tennis for the Eagles during his career. After high school, Harris continued his ath- letic career at Campbellsville University where he ran Cross Country all four years of college while earning his B.S. in Middle Grades Mathematics. Harris also serves as the Campbellsville High School Soccer Head Coach. During his first year as Head Coach, Harris led his number one doubles team to the KHSAA State Tennis Tourna- ment. Harris is married to Keely Humphress of Campbellsville, KY. Currently, Harris serves as a 6th grade math teacher at CMS where he will begin his fourth year teaching.
