Developing EFs+ STRATEGIC PLAN an on-line survey was launched on March 2019 to define Efs+ aspirations (MISSION, VISION and 1 value), positioning and environment through a PESTLE and SWOT analysis on-going activities, but first results were presented during the meeting ERVO 2019 Feasibility study toward a long-term TA system of Research Vessels 2 desktop analysis of legal entity (i.e. ERIC, AISBL) adopted by Advanced and Emerging RI community in Europe (i.e. EUFAR, Jerico, Danibius)

Main strategic element towards a long-term sustainable system are: • Internationalisation & international research collaboration LONG-TERM SUSTAINABLE • Establishment of centralised secretariat • Secure longer-term financial commitment by members COORDINATED SYSTEM OF • Advanced governance structures & coordination of operations RESEARCH VESSELS • Demonstrate European and global scientific leadership • Greater capacity to work in association with industry • Close connection with EU research and industrial policy frameworks 3 Building Eurofleets legacy
