UCLA Opens the 2011 Season on the Road Against No. 1 Louisville Two teams meet in a rematch of last year's NCAA Quarterfi nal match.

This Week — No. 2/6 UCLA opens the 2011 season on Sat., Aug. 27th, against the No. 1 ranked Louisville 2011 UCLA Schedule Cardinals at Cardinal Park in Louisville, KY. The match is slated to start at 7:00 pm ET/4:00 pm PT and is a rematch of last season's NCAA Quarterfi nal match in which the Cardinals ended the Bruins' 2010 Date Opponent Time/Result season with a 5-4 victory. Aug. 27 at #1 Louisville 4:00 pm PT Sept. 2 at Santa Clara 7:00 pm Live Coverage — Fans can follow the game via Gametracker. Louisville kicked off the 2011 season with a pair of exhibition games last weekend, shutting out both Saint Louis and Michigan 2-0. Singh, a former walk-on, earned second-team All-Pac-10 honors in 2010 while Wiet, a transfer from Indiana, was voted 2010 Stats - Returning Players as UCLA's Defensive MVP. Sophomores Patrick Matchett and Joe Sofi a will return to the defense as well.
