PRESS RELEASE MIES, 19/08/2021 FOR MORE INFORMATION: ISABELLE LARIVIÈRE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER [email protected] TEL +41 22 950 95 68 FIM Grand Prix World Championship 2021 calendar, UPDATE 19 August Malaysian GP cancelled and replaced by a Grand Prix at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli The FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports regret to announce the cancellation of the Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix, which was set to take place at Sepang International Circuit from the 22nd to the 24th of October. The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting entry restrictions for Malaysia oblige the cancellation of the event. The FIM MotoGP™ World Championship looks forward to returning to Sepang in 2022 to race in front of our dedicated Malaysian fans. The FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports are pleased to confirm that MotoGP™ will return to Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli from the 22nd to the 24th of October, the weekend previously scheduled for the Malaysian GP, for a second Grand Prix at the classic Italian track. The name of this event will be announced in due course. Po e marrim si të vërtetë. Përpara se të vrasin këto kafshë të gjora nën pretekstin për të zgjidhur problemet klimatike, le të ndalojnë ose të pakësojnë garat motorrike si Formula 1, të cilat në një garë të një dite të vetme, emetojnë më shumë gaz karbonik sesa emetojnë devetë gjatë gjithë vitit. Le të analizojmë problemet e shumta për mjedisin dhe klimën që sjellin garat motorrike, duke marrë si shembull Formula 1, që është më ndotësi nga garat motorrike dhe të shohim se sa e dëmton natyrën. Një nga problemet e shumta për mjedisin dhe klimën, që vjen si pasojë e garave të Formula 1 është çlirimi i dioksidit të karbonit nga djegia e karburantit për një garë, e cila nuk sjell asnjë të mirë materiale për njerëzit. Kjo djegie karburanti nuk është e domosdoshme si ajo e traktorit, që punon tokën për ta mbjellur, apo e autobusit, që transporton pasagjerë nevojtarë nga një vend në një tjetër. Sipas Uikipedias një makinë e zakonshme e garës Formula 1 djeg 75 litra karburant për 100 km të përshkuara. Pra 0.75 litra karburant të djegur, lëshojnë rreth 1737 gram dioksid karboni për një kilometër, sasi kjo që është pothuajse nëntë herë më shumë se sasia e dioksidit të karbonit që lëshojnë makinat normale. 1 Dhe gjatë një sezoni garash, ku përdoren afërsisht 100,000 litra karburant, i takon të prodhohet 231 ton dioksid karboni për çdo makinë. -

TCR Eastern Europe powered by ESET Ryba and Vesnić shared wins in Hungary The inaugural season of the TCR Eastern Europe powered by ESET kicked off at the Hungaroring, where Martin Ryba and Milovan Vesnič took one win apiece. In the first race Ryba held on the lead from the start to the end, but behind him there was a close fight between Vesnić and Jáchym Galáš who eventually finished in the order. Jakub Wyszomirsky was classified fourth. It was raining at the start of Race 2; Galáš had a poor start, was hit from behind and sent into the pit wall. After a safety car period the rain intensified; Ryba who was leading, retired with damage to the front of his car. This paved the way to Vesnić who won from his teammate Wyszomirsky, while Petr Čížek completed the podium. The series will resume on May 17/19 at the Red Bull Ring. Race 1 1. M. Porsche 919 Hybrid Return to top-level sport Porsche is making its comeback to the top-level motorsport arena: with the new 919 Hybrid the sports car brand is sending a platform for pioneering technology to the top category of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) with the undisputed seasonal highlight of the 24-hour Le Mans race. Porsche's reputation precedes it at this venue: with 16 overall victories under its belt, the brand holds the record for this, the most famous endurance race in the world. In 2014 Porsche is returning to the top-level class endurance race after a 16-year absence - namely Le Mans Prototypes (LMP1). Matthias Müller, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG explains: "The new and revolutionary efficiency regulations for this class were what prompted us to take this step. In 2014 it is not going to be the fastest contender who is going to win the sports car world championship and Le Mans, but the car that gets furthest with the defined amount of energy. And it is precisely this challenge that the automotive industry has to face. The 919 Hybrid is like a high speed research laboratory and the most complex racing car Porsche has ever built." The new WEC regulations for the LMP1 racing car gives engineers an unusual amount of leeway and demands pioneering technology, such as hybridisation, downsizing engines and consistent lightweight construction. This is all particularly relevant for the development of future generations of factory-spec sports cars. The Fanatec brand will become a multi-year title sponsor of the renowned Fanatec GT World Challenge powered by AWS (formerly Blancpain GT World Challenge) and the new Fanatec GT2 European Series.
