The petitioner's request for an FM Channel at Roxton, Texas can be met by allotting FM Channel 255A to Roxton, Texas. Accordingly, SBC proposes to amend Section 73.202(b) of the Commission's Rules, FM Table of Allotments as follows: Channel No. Present Proposed Soper, Oklahoma 274A Roxton, Texas 255A No change in existing allotments is necessary. - 2 - 1. If the requested allotment is made to Soper, SBC will apply for a construction permit for a new FM station on Channel 274A at Soper, Oklahoma. If SBC is granted a construction permit, it will promptly construct a new FM station to serve Soper, Oklahoma. 2. As demonstrated in the attached engineering exhibit, the allotment of Channel 274A to Soper, Oklahoma and Channel 255A to Roxton, Texas, can be accomplished in compliance with all minimum mileage separation requirements. 3. The City of Soper, Oklahoma is governed by its own Mayor and Board of Trustees, and served by a City Clerk and City Treasurer.
