TV Guide The Valley might be looking green, but the drought is far from over, and our local farmers still need our support, so the Scone Literary Festival organisers have planned a very special event to help out our drought- affected community. Sunday November 11 will feature a Bush Poets Breakfast with all proceeds raised going to the local drought appeal. The BBQ will be cooked by Upper Hunter Shire Council Mayor Cr. Wayne Bedggood assisted by a bunch of local volunteers. The entertainment and focus of the Breakfast will be four, acclaimed local bush poets who have been performing very successfully up and down the Valley for many years. Known as the ‘Awesome Foursome of Bush Poetry’ the group comprises of Tim McLoughlin, Sally Mitchell, Tom Parry and Greg Scott. Continued page 2. Image right: Tim McLoughlin.
