WBTV 3-CBS AFFILIATE Sports Intern May 2013 – August 2013 Responsibilities included producing content for the sports anchor for on-air use as well as editing video and audio clips for broadcast. Covered high profile sporting events such as Panthers camp, Bobcats press conferences including Draft Night, and NASCAR racing. Additionally assisted reporters on field assignments. CHARLOTTE HOUNDS-MAJOR LEAGUE LACROSSE RADIO Co-Host May 2013 – August 2013 Performed live broadcast of a weekly hour long program centered on the Charlotte MLL franchise. Provided analysis of past games highlights, previewed upcoming games and discussed league news. Hosted guests which included the team owner, GM and players. CINESPORT Intern/Production Assistant June 2012 – August 2012 Initially brought on as a summer intern responsible for writing sports articles to be posted on 75 newspaper websites across the US, as well as logging and cutting press conference material for inclusion on company website, writing scripts for on-camera personalities and conducting on-camera interviews. Post internship, retained to continue to write articles consistently and perform on-camera assignments when available. FULL COUNT/THE RUNDOWN Creator and Host January 2012 - Present Developer and on-air host of a weekly internet radio sports program focused on in-depth analysis of top stories throughout the world of sports. Program has consistently gained listeners and callers each week. UNDER THE LIGHTS Creator and Writer April 2011 - Present Created sports blog designed to stimulate discussion on high profile topics as well as offering new perspectives on the most recent news releases. WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY Women’s Volleyball Broadcaster August 2011 – Present Selected to provide live streaming play by play and running commentary for this nationally ranked squad broadcast over the CBS subsidiary, WVUsports.com, the home of Mountaineer athletics. ESPN Intern, New York 1050 Radio May 2011 – August 2011 Assisted on-air show hosts including Mike Lupica, Michael Kay, Stephen A. Smith, Ryan Ruocco, Robin Lundberg, and Ian O’Connor in areas such as editing and producing highlight tapes, fact checking, guest coordination and events including New York Yankees broadcasts and the Michael Kay Charity Golf Tournament as well as meet and greets with sports figures such as Mark Sanchez of the NY Jets. Chris Cerbo Page 2 CBS SPORTS Production Assistant February 2011 – May 2014 Recruited by CBS to provide general assistance during pre-game, game and post-game production for all CBS televised West Virginia University sports broadcasts on a per diem basis. Responsibilities include direct interaction with the producer and on–air personalities in a varied range of support. WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY WWVU On-Air Radio Personality September 2010 – May 2014 One of only two freshmen brought on board this 90 person station broadcasting a variety of formats throughout the northeast section of the state as well as sections of Maryland. Various on-air responsibilities include participation in a three hour morning show, two weekly sports recaps delivering highlights from the NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL, NCAA and others; the WVU Women’s Basketball half-time show, and as a member of a panel show discussing current sports news. Production work includes board operations, such as verifying sound levels and communicating with on and off site staff during live broadcasts, and editing highlights to utilize for recap shows. TEEN KIDS NEWS, Fox 5 TV, New York, NY Reporter (season 7) 2009 On air personality reporting soft news in a studio setting for a show geared towards teens and pre-teens. Stories include segments on carnivorous plants, water conservation and geography. SOMERSET PATRIOTS Scoreboard Operator April 2008 – October 2008 and April 2009 – October 2009 Overall control of a state of the art “Venus” high definition scoreboard including creating and editing of video program as well as player stat updates and on-going game summaries. Additional duties included on-field camera work and in-game promotions in support of the Atlantic League Championship team managed by Sparky Lyle. JERSEY EXPRESS Play by Play and Public Address Announcer October 2007–March 2008 and November 2008-March 2009 As an intern, supported this professional ABA league basketball team as the “Voice of the Jersey Express” announcing play by play as well as supporting sponsors and fan entertainment throughout home games.
