Sexual Assault Awareness There Is No Excuse and Never an Invitation to RAPE

Observe Denim Day with Los Angeles Community College District Trustees Students – Staff – Faculty – Administrators

During the month of April, California Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CALCASA) observes Denim Day California. This day is in protest to an Italian Supreme Court decision that overturned a rape conviction. The Court decided the female plaintiff could not have possibly been raped because she was wearing tight jean pants.

Since the 1990’ s Denim Day California has sent a message that there is never a reason or excuse to sexually assault anyone.

Join the many participants who will be wearing their denim clothing in support of the survivors of sexual violence and their knowledge and awareness of this devastating issue.

WEAR YOUR JEANS WITH A PURPOSE
