This week marked the 15th anniversary of Mickey Fox’s death. The former Lilywhites groundsman, who was described by Des Casey as an “institution in Oriel Park and a legend in the wider football world”, dedicated 60 years of his life to the club and, perhaps fittingly, passed away in his garden on the Ardee Road.
