MINISTER’S ORDER No: 13-2012-WI12 ORDER for Increasing Weight Designation on Provincial Highway No. 13 Pursuant to section 35.1(1) (d) of The Highways and Transportation Act, 1997. Reference: Increasing weight limits on a section of Provincial Highway No. 13. For the purpose of managing traffic on and protecting provincial highways, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that effective 12:01 AM, November 9, 2012 unless restricted by a Minister’s Order issued pursuant to The Highways and Transportation Act, 1997, this Order authorizes any person, vehicle or class of vehicles to operate at the weights set for primary highways by The Vehicle Weight and Dimension Regulations, 2010, on Provincial Highway No. 13 from the junction with Provincial Highway No. 39 to the junction with Provincial Highway No. 4, with the exception of April, May, and June of each year. Backgrounder Saskatchewan’s 2018‒19 federal Gas Tax Fund allocations The Government of Canada has delivered the first of two more than $30.9 million federal Gas Tax Fund (GTF) instalments to Saskatchewan for the 2018-19 fiscal year. The funding will flow through the provincial government to the following 749 communities on a per capita basis. In total, the GTF will provide Saskatchewan with over $61.9 million this fiscal year for local infrastructure projects. By the end of 2018-19, more than $665.8 million will have been provided to Saskatchewan through the federal Gas Tax Fund since the program was launched in 2005. The following table indicates the 2018-19 federal GTF allocation for Saskatchewan’s participating communities. MG 259 - Keith Ewart Photograph Collection Dates: 1885-2009 (inclusive), 1977-2009 (predominant). Extent: ~7000 photographs, 125 glass plates, 322 postcards. Biography: Keith Ewart was born on 9 September 1931, and was raised and schooled in Weyburn, Sk. He trained as a psychiatric nurse and spent most of his working career in Moose Jaw. He has lived in Saskatoon since 1989. A photographer by vocation, in 1975 Ewart began taking images of buildings in Saskatchewan. He has published two volumes of his photographic documentation of railway stations and railway buildings. He passed away in 2011. Scope and content: This collection includes images Keith Ewart has taken of structural landmarks, particularly in Saskatchewan, as well as glass plates from a Moose Jaw photographer ca. 1915-1920. The collection also contains some images that were not taken by Ewart, but were collected by him. Arrangement: This fonds was received inn groups of smaller accessions which have been kept in their original groupings.
