Recrutements EDHEC recruits 5 new professors These new recruitments testify to EDHEC ’s reputation within the international academic community.

January 2011 – EDHEC welcomed five new international professors to the , and London campuses at the beginning of January. These recruitments fit perfectly with EDHEC Business School’s international growth strategy and the recruitment programme that has already seen 25 professors hired since 2009.

The five new professors have gained their experience with prestigious institutions both within and outside the academic world, including the , Lundquist College of Business (University of Oregon), the Rotterdam School of , Princeton, Wharton, the Banque de France, the New York Stock Exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, DC.

These recruitments fit fully with the strategy initiated by EDHEC in 2006 and which holds the underlying view that academic research should seek more than just peer-group recognition, so as to be disseminated among the economic world and thus be useful to businesses. As Olivier Oger, Dean of EDHEC Business School, underlines: “By choosing to join EDHEC, these professors vindicate the reasoning behind our Research for Business strategy”.
