A PRAYER FOR PRIESTS Lord , you have chosen your priests from among us and sent them out to proclaim your word and act in your name. For so great a gift to your Church, we give you praise and thanksgiving. We ask you to fill them with the fire of your love, that their ministry may reveal your presence in the Church. Since they are earthen vessels, we pray that your power shines out through their weakness. In their afflictions let them never be crushed, in their doubts never despair, in temptation never be destroyed, and in persecution never abandoned. Inspire them through prayer to live each day the mystery of your dying and ris- ing. In times of weakness send them your Spir- it and help them to praise your Heavenly Fa- ther and pray for poor sinners. By your same Holy Spirit put your word on their lips and your love in their hearts, to bring good news to the poor and healing to the brokenhearted. And may the gift of Mary, your Mother, to the whom you loved, be your gift to every priest. Grant that she who formed you in her human image, may form them in your divine image, by the power of your Spirit, to the glory of God the Father, Amen. Teresa of Calcutta Vocation Society

Be Blessed and Encouragedged at out next Magnificat breakfast for women, Saturday, March 23, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM at the Holiday Inn Airport, Gulf Coast Town Center, Fort Myers. Our guest speaker, Norma Coryell, was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan along with her eight siblings. Her parents were life-long Catholics and raised their children in the faith, sending all nine children to . Norma married Larry Coryell in 1970, while he was attending medical school, and she was working for the State of Michigan. In 1987 Norma, Larry and their two children moved to Fort Myers. They attended St. Cecilia Catholic Church, and it was there that she met a lady in Catholic ministry and received inner healing prayer, and experienced the deep love and mercy of the Lord Jesus. Her favorite scripture is Isaiah 61:1 “The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and release to the prisoners.” In 2001 they returned to Michigan, where Norma was involved with Unbound, a healing and deliverance prayer ministry helping people live a free life in Christ. Through the Unbound prayer ministry, she experienced the light and love of our Father in heaven in amazing ways. Norma takes particular joy watching Jesus free and heal His people from the power of sin. The Coryell’s returned to Fort Myers and are, once again, members of St. Cecilia Catholic Community. Seating is limited. No walk-ins or payment at the door! Advanced registration ONLY. Please send a $20 check, payable to Magnificat Fort Myers, to Margaret Mengle, 5017 Westminster Dr., Fort Myers, FL. 33919, or order tickets online at http://magnificatfortmyers.org. Your mail request must be postmarked by March 13. Page 11 Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time: February 17, 2019
