Image: Ben King / Porchlight Films Letter to the Minister 9 September 2020 The Hon Paul Fletcher MP Minister for Communications, Cyber Safety and the Arts Parliament House Canberra ACT 2600 Dear Minister The Board of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation is pleased to present its Annual Report for the year ended 30 June 2020. The report was prepared for section 46 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, in accordance with the requirements of that Act and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Act 1983. It was approved by the Board on 9 September 2020 and provides a streamlined, yet full, overview of the ABC’s performance and delivery in line with its Charter remit. The ABC walked beside Australians through the stress, fear and change of late 2019 and early 2020, a time full of uncertainty. It provided constant support for audiences with its wide-ranging and comprehensive news coverage, and help and distraction through quality discussion, entertainment, music, children’s content and specialist services. We adapted to our new operating circumstances expediently, while facing our internal challenges head on. There can be no better example of the ABC’s dedication to Australian stories, culture and experience than its activities throughout 2019-20. I trust you will find the same reflected within this report. Sincerely, Ita Buttrose AC, OBE Chair Letter to the Minister i Yvonne Strahovski as Sofie Werner in Stateless. sustainability Article Standardization Framework for Sustainability from Circular Economy 4.0 María Jesús Ávila-Gutiérrez * , Alejandro Martín-Gómez, Francisco Aguayo-González and Antonio Córdoba-Roldán Design Engineering Dept, University of Seville, Escuela Politécnica Superior, Virgen de África 7, 41011 Seville, Spain; [email protected] (A.M.-G.); [email protected] (F.A.-G.); [email protected] (A.C.-R.) * Correspondence: [email protected] Received: 8 October 2019; Accepted: 15 November 2019; Published: 18 November 2019 Abstract: The circular economy (CE) is widely known as a way to implement and achieve sustainability, mainly due to its contribution towards the separation of biological and technical nutrients under cyclic industrial metabolism. The incorporation of the principles of the CE in the links of the value chain of the various sectors of the economy strives to ensure circularity, safety, and efficiency. The framework proposed is aligned with the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development regarding the orientation towards the mitigation and regeneration of the metabolic rift by considering a double perspective. Firstly, it strives to conceptualize the CE as a paradigm of sustainability. Its principles are established, and its techniques and tools are organized into two frameworks oriented towards causes (cradle to cradle) and effects (life cycle assessment), and these are structured under the three pillars of sustainability, for their projection within the proposed framework. Secondly, a framework is established to facilitate the implementation of the CE with the use of standards, which constitute the requirements, tools, and indicators to control each life cycle phase, and of key enabling technologies (KETs) that add circular value 4.0 to the socio-ecological transition.

It’s news when you want it, on your platform – TV, mobile and online.” In this article, the station’s content is analysed across 24 hours of its programming and compared with the same 24 hours of pro- gramming from BBC World. The content is tested for four key values: range of stories; coverage of the big stories; competence in going live to breaking stories; and ability to add value through analysis, debate and context. The examination of the data against these four key values enables an analysis of the nature of the service and assists in assessing whether or not it is providing an enriched and different offering in a busy 24/7 media landscape. Introduction The top line of ABC Australia’s News 24 website states: “ABC News 24 provides around the clock coverage of news events as they break at home and abroad.
