This weekend, the most elite high school lacrosse players in the country have been selected to showcase their skills to some of the top coaches, trainers, and fellow players in the game. As a former All-American lacrosse player from the University of Maryland, I know fi rst-hand that these are some of the hardest working athletes in the world – all of them have displayed an unparalleled work ethic and an unstoppable determination to be the very best. This is what makes them Under Armour All-Americans. We should all be proud when they take this fi eld. Under Armour is proud to support, motivate, and make these athletes better by offering the most advanced products in the sport, outfi tting them head-to-toe in the game’s greatest technology. This year, we are introducing our new UA Highlight Cleat – these super-high, ridiculously light lacrosse cleats are guaranteed to be a game-changer. With a form-fi tting upper and a seriously locked-in footbed, these athletes will not only look attack-ready, they’ll be quicker, more dynamic, and more streamlined than ever before. We are excited to have you – the fans – here today. Without the support and encouragement you provide, these athletes wouldn’t be taking the fi eld this weekend. Thank you for being a part of this exciting and important event. Good luck to our athletes, wear your Armour, and most importantly, have fun! Kip Fulks Chief Operating Offi cer UNDER ARMOUR Welcome to the seventh annual Under Armour All-America Classic. As you watch today’s games, I welcome you to join me in congratulating every player on the fi eld for reaching the pinnicle of their sport by being named an Under Armour All-American. This moniker will stick with each of them for the rest of their lives and they all should be commended for such hard work and dedication throughout the years. Behind every great high school athlete is an array of supporters who shoud also be recognized. Parents, teammates, coaches and others have been there helping the All-Americans along their path. Whether it was driving them to practice, showing them proper technique or standing in goal during warm ups, every player on the fi eld today has a long list of people who made the road to this day a little smoother. Inside Lacrosse was instrumental in the selection of the All-America teams through a committee made up of the nation’s most knowledgeable fi gures in high school lacrosse. They picked the brains of college and high school coaches from across the country to fi nd the best of the best. Only nominees in good academic standing were considered for participation. A big thank you goes to the people behind the scenes such as Bill Murphy and his staff at Towson University as well as the Corrigan Sports Enterprises staff whose tireless dedication has helped make this weekend a success. We would like to thank you once again for your support of the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic. Enjoy the games and we hope to see you again next year.
