Situation and Amenities Hinton Charterhouse is one of the most appealing villages to the south of Bath and is within an easy drive of the city centre. The community is extremely active with two village pubs, a shop and a lively cricket club. Schools in the area include Freshford Primary, Prior Park College, Stonar, Monkton Combe, King Edwards, The Royal High School for Girls and Kingswood in Bath. Further afield, but within easy reach are Badminton, Downside, Marlborough, Millfield and St. Mary’s Calne. Home Farm Home Farm is a charming stone house built in 1998 by renowned local builders Emery. It is not listed. The class of the build and the materials used are of the highest quality. The house was built in the Georgian style and exudes charm, standing centrally to the main gardens. The current owners have since undertaken an extensive refurbishment of the house in conjunction with popular interior designers Woodhouse & Law, based in Bath.
