2007-08 VMI BASKETBALL KEYDET BASKETBALL GAME NOTES KEYDET BASKETBALL GAME NOTES KEYDET BASKETBALL GAME NOTES Keydets On Three-Game Winning Streak Entering Game at Richmond VMI Looks to Improve to 4-0 Against In-State Opponents VMI improved its record to 6-5 with a 83-72 victory at William & Mary on Thursday, Dec. 20. Senior forward Reggie Williams scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds while freshman guard Austin Kenon nailed seven 3- point shots on his way to a career-high 25 points in the contest, as VMI secured its first road win of the year. The Keydets won their third straight and ended a four-game losing streak to the Tribe dating back to 1992. Meanwhile, VMI (6-55) vs. VMI also moved to 2-0 against Colonial Athletic Association foes this season and it marked the first time the Keydets RIchmond (5-66) had defeated two CAA teams in the same season since 1986-87.
