The Chipola Indians (11-1) lead the Panhandle Conference as of April 7 with Gulf Coast (10-2) in second. Other league records are: North- west (4-8), Tallahassee (3-9) and Pensacola (2-10). Chipola is ranked second in the FCSAA state baseball poll and Gulf Coast is third. Chipola hosts Gulf Coast in the second game of a two-game series on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Indians will also host Tallahassee on April 13, at 6 p.m., and Northwest on April 15, at 6 p.m. The Indians are riding a nine- game winning streak, including a two-game sweep of Pensacola on April 4 and 6. Chipola beat Pensacola 11-9 on April 4. Addison Reed (5-1) earned the win. Bowden Francis got the save. Wood Myers was 5 for 5. Mi- chael Hickman and Tyler Osik were both 2 for 2.
