The Competition as used herein includes all of the officials, officers, directors, employees, agents and volunteers of the Competition and the American Saddlebred Horse Association of New Jersey. I agree that by entering this Competition, I am subject to the rules as stated in the Prize List. I fully understand that horse sports are inherently dangerous and that horses can be unpredictable; that being on or around horses involves inherent risks and dangers which can result in serious loss, accident, bodily injury, pain, suffering or even death. I agree to assume all the risk of harm involved in my participation and I agree to indemnify, release and hold harmless the Competition and the American Saddlebred Horse Association of New Jersey from all claims for money damages or otherwise for any harm to me or my horse and for any harm caused by me or my horse to others, even if the harm arises or results directly or indirectly from the negligence of the Competition. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Competition. I understand that I am entitled to wear protective equipment without penalty and I am encouraged to do so while understanding that no protective equipment can guard against all injuries.
